Agree Chris, each company will have their own specific story to tell. NCYT have a strong one, why don’t they simply tell it, rather than just sit on their hands?

Can’t see how they can at present, but would like to see even a token amount bought, post AGM, just to send out a signal.

Kareem, great minds or fools, take your pick. This is the bit that makes no sense to me, or at least the bit that needs a full explanation. Don’t think we’ll get a definitive answer prior to some form of resolution. Gut feel says that cannot be far away, not when we’re still supplying them.

It’s true, we know this to be the case, but I’d doubt that’s how NCYT is perceived. I’d guess that the company is predominantly viewed as a PCR Covid stock, hence the hit.
Would be relatively easy to change that perception.

Hostile TO a distinct possibility the longer this goes on, especially now that a worst case scenario is in the books. I’d see it a wee bit higher than £4 though.

Think we’re going to see a bit of pressure again today, both this morning and then after any official announcement. Potentially not a great 48 hrs for us, but we could come through it OK if the BoD would just bang the drum a bit louder...,,

Agree with all you say Saintsmith and I do feel that we should be reasonably protected, but right now the perception is that we’re a PCR stock. This could have been very easy to change before this news landed, it’s been talked about for some time now.

Think we got through yesterday’s inevitable beating rather well, but I’m actually more concerned about today’s expected travel testing news. They’ve had warning, so really hope that NCYT have some good news on our LFT tests to counter any negativity towards PCR stocks today. That is how we’re perceived at present, a PCR Covid stock, it would have been very easy to change that perception with a strong update on LFT offerings. Let’s hope.

Always easy to take an emotive, knee jerk reaction to news like this - and the MMs will sweep up all the shares from those that do. So, a short lived hit to SP, but then a nice clean slate with all the crap news officially penned in, worst case. So, no more guesswork, no more uncertainty unless it involves upside.
Sit on your hands, do not sell and wait for the short term volatility to subside.
Objectively, not a pleasant RNS, but one that removes market uncertainty. That’s a good thing.

Agree with you Porky, Javid’s ramblings on Sunday were just to appease the travel industry and those that foolishly believe that borders should be fully open, without appropriate testing. We need PCR in order to track variants, really is as simple as that.
HMG’s communication skills are almost as good as NCYT’s.....!!

The very last thing this stock needs right now is a shareholder revolt, it would be totally counterproductive.
I’ll be voting yes to all resolutions. That is not to say that I don’t want to see some changes, I do. However, voting no would simply jeopardise my investment at this point. Simples.
