I don’t see it as a conspiracy, or deliberate. I see it as a combination of inexperience and arrogance on the part of the BoD. Nothing more than that. GM had his strengths, but neither the experience or knowledge to take the company from small cap to mid cap when Covid gave them the opportunity to do just that. They came close, but that would have relied on luck being on their side. It wasn’t.
Still a good chance to make it happen, but with a new leader and over a longer timescale. The frustration that many LTHs feel here is because they didn’t expect to have to be LTHs, it was all going to be so much easier than this....
Right now, remaining a LTH is the only game in town.
That’s very frustrating when you can see other opportunities being missed....

Kitzie , can you tell me how NCYT management ‘from what I can see weren’t involved with either’? First drop was an appalling RNS saying it was impossible to give any financial vision. The second was a prolonged dispute between NCYT and it’s biggest client. We don’t know the detail there, but NCYT not involved, really? You put the blame for huge SP drop on PI sentiment, but what exactly do you think drives said sentiment?
Personally, can’ wait for a change of CEO.

If this is an important forum for you, then respect it’s integrity. There is quite obvious duplicity in action here. Ask what the motive is. Fun? More likely something else. THAT is why I bring it up, NOT because I love disruption!

Wilson, I did respond to Lewis. Everyone knew the results were coming on Monday, I was talking about a potential RNS before voting closed, a last chance RNS that could have favoured a positive vote. Apologies if that wasn’t clear to you. Please try reading the whole thread.

Wilson, thanks for your advice. I’m not going to get into a shouting match over this quite obvious duplicity (although I am starting to question just how naive some individuals are being), but neither am I going to ‘shut up’ in the face of such blatant deceit. Just bin me. Simples.

DBR (or whatever name you’re using today), I won’t be wasting any of my time whatsoever on ‘doing some digging’. I’m sure your ego thinks that would be justified, but I have no intention of feeding your silly games any further.

Actually agree with BYP here, whether it’s £8 or £54 I’d like to understand people’s thought processes or reasoning. Without that, it’s just a random number.
I’d be very happy to see £8 by year end, but that would surely be dependent on dispute resolution - and that’s nigh on impossible to predict currently.

Just natural frustration, I think. Barring the dispute, this should be flying. Frustration rather than any negativity, on my part anyway....

Totally respect that considered choice Bluelight, we’ll all have our own take on things. Hope you’re right on the consensus, because the board being unable to pass pretty mundane (in the main) resolutions will just add to any II reluctance to buy in IMO. Let’s just hope that they actually get voters in the numbers required.

Yep, everyone is expecting that, but too late to change voting sentiment. Too many people sound like they have, or are going to, cut off their nose to spite their face.

What RNS are you getting on Monday Lewis, one to remind people that voting has closed?

Kitzie, I’m not disagreeing with you at all and I voted yes to everything, bar bonuses. However, my fear is that there will be a sizeable revolt and several resolutions will not go through. This will not help any transition to mid-cap, nor the SP. Part of being listed on AIM is knowing how to play the AIM game, thinking they’re above it before they’re out of it would be naive.

I’ll say it, I’m disappointed that we’ve had no news this morning. Mainly because it’s going to see more shareholders vote ‘no’ as a protest. A shareholder revolt could further undermine confidence in the SP, please think long and hard before voting.

Great insight Poidster, thank you. Can’t see any legal reason for non payment (from the bare bones of what we know), so I’m still confident that a compromise that is favourable towards NCYT will be reached. In the meantime, it’s parked on the books as realistic worst case. Only upside, to my thinking.

I’ve no doubt that many will want to register protest votes, but I also fear for the market reaction to a wholesale shareholder revolt. I’m therefore voting positively tomorrow.
