Lindy and her team have improved the Affinity (see figure B). Presumably this is an example of Avidimab.
The direct killing of the tumour has also been improved.

I and J are also interesting showing the differences in affinity between healthy tissues (I) and tumours (J).

You just never know when the next news is coming since so many of the news items are left-field.

By contrast, the 3 planned trials have all been delayed.
But with possibly all 3 trials getting going soon and with 3 collaborations at various stages maybe the market is at long last beginning to take note. Or am I being over optimistic?

Here's hoping that in 2020, Scancell finally begins to reap the rewards for all the hard work by Lindy and all her widespread teams.

You definitely get the impression that China, having proved itself as a basic manufacturing nation, now wants to now take on the rest of the world (especially the US) in high-tech industries. The logical next step.
Scancell's solutions must have appeal because of their relative low cost when compared to the other more sexy technologies being pushed in the US.
But its not just the cost that appeals, its also the logic of Lindy's approach. Clever ways of persuading the immune system to recognise the danger. The approach currently does not have enough evidence to convince big pharma but they certainly appear to be circling.
It is important that investors do their own research in this high risk sector.

I'm not normally one to predict share price movements but I predict it will either tick up, tick down or stay level.

Who knows - these could be scientific breakthroughs, collaborations or dare I say it "deals" (takeover bid by Neil Woodford LOL)
But we do increasingly see left field items in the last couple of years (mainly because Lindy is on a roll)

So the existing mAB is soon out of patent but along comes mark2 with enhanced avidity.

The existing mAB can now possibly be copied but the copies will be inferior to the mark2
OR
The drug company goes down the evergreening route of patenting the extra potency that Avidimab gives

Either way, the gravy train continues.

From a Scancell perspective, this could be massive.
How many Mabs are out there that could benefit from having Avidimab?
And the 2 collaborations so far are non-exclusive and our collaborators know that.
So if and when deals come along who knows how they will be structured.
Outright purchase of Avidimab, purchase of 1 or more of the glycans mABs, licencing by mAB, licencing by geographical area (e.g. China)

If Scancell got a £5 million up front payment for Avidimab it would have 2 effects
a) It would buy some precious time
b) It would improve sentiment and maybe dramatically improve the SP

The time you could probably have a shot at estimating.
The sentiment and SP cannot be predicted.

Vulpes's will know more about just how things are going at present as compared to other IIs.
They will be privy to the kinds of information that we only get to know about at the AGM. The detailed information in the presentations of Sally and Lindy.
Examples are
1) The details of how the Modi1 manufacture is going
2) What has caused the delay in the BionTech collaboration

In short, they will know an up-to-date position on each of Scancell's projects.
Presumably, they will also know the identities of our 2 Avidimab collaborators.

So, the fact that they are buying more, is encouraging to me.

I'm guessing here that for Immunobody and Moditope, Scancell is saying to pharma "Wait for data please" unless you want to make an offer we can't refuse.

For Avidimab, Scancell is saying "evaluate please" and then we will discuss. The 2 pharmas are also probably saying exactly the same. Maybe on a mAB by mAB basis.

For Modi1 TCR , a similar arrangement to Avidimab with perhaps the option to await data from the Modi1 trial.

Have Scancell invented a new type of jelly bean?

I'm guessing that the market reaction is lukewarm due to lack of a granted patent on Avidimab plus the early stages of granting Glycan Mabs patents.
But what it does show is that 2 companies are now interested in Scancell's 3rd string platform. Nothing like competition to push the price up.
