It looks to be a joint effort between 3 Melbourne Unis, Nottingham Uni and ,of course, Scancell.

It's more work on Glycans and in particular how a particular Mab (ch28/11) binds to a particular target (SSEA-4).
They have discovered that the sialic acid in the target plays a key role in the binding.

Yes, the potential market is huge.
That is why it is so frustrating that Scancell's science is moving faster than the all important trial data.
I felt this at the beginning of 2018 when CH mapped out the trial timetable and the gap is even bigger now.

Its so important now
a) that the Modi1 trial start date does not slip again
b) Scancell finds a way to open more centres for the SCIB1 trial. I have not written off the FDA finally relenting on whatever objections they have to Trigrid V2 but I don't think we (the Scancell cult) should count on it
d) A complete bonus would be the SCIB2 trial starting in 2020
e) Lastly we have 2 collaborations ongoing that could lead to pre-clinical deals - soon to monetise our assets LOL

Peversely, this comes in a period where the first Avidimab collaboration has been announced and also MAb FG2811 has been revealed at the Paris conference.

With Avidimab, I'm hoping that our collaborator will do their evaluation on a mab by mab basis.
So we could end up with multiple deals. Admittedly, the initial deals may with with small up front payments but as the concept becomes more proven (hopefully) the up front payments should start to increase.
I wonder if our collaborator has a sense of urgency since it is not an exclusive collaboration.
So, possibly lots of deals for our expert deal maker.

I think it is a remarkable deal since this is a small Bio getting the chance to run a 2nd phase III trial.
It also looks like an excellent deal from IMM's point of view.
The key, I think, is the use of bio-markers to give better screening of patients.
Their partner must be confident that this will give a better result or they would not get involved.

I think the answer to that is 10 or 11 years, and before that expires ever greening starts giving an extra x years on top depending on how well the ever greening goes.
So 10 + 1? + x? is the answer.

Obviously we have to have a deal first since it is unlikely Scancell will be running phase III trials. And before that we need a trial that recruits patients. So the really important aspect presently is the expansion of the combo trial.
