Just one to throw in the mix, pure conjecture but...
If Redmile have come into scancell 'unprompted', i.e. not due to anything to do with Vulpes, that means that scancell's own efforts have attracted the attention and cash (in big amounts) of a significant west coast america pharma specialist investor. So if vulpes did get their nose put out of joint by being elbowed out as number one knight in shining armour, can anyone rule out the possibility that some other significant party could be interested enough to take over from Vulpes if it came to that?
Pure theorising, but imo certainly not beyond the realms of reasonable possibility.

I was thinking that if all were reset and I had to choose between Vulpes coming in for 15 percent or so, or Redmile at 25 percent-ish, which would I choose? I have to say that while Vulpes have a great track record, they did have that rather odd 2 million sell which had a far greater effect on the sp than it did on their holding. Redmile on the other hand are much larger, even better connected and are pharma specialists, and USA based. Nothing against Vulpes per se at all, but only the silver medal for them.

I shall have to tell the chaps who carry my sedan chair to run faster.

If it is Vulpes v Redmile, then we have two large holders who would be at odds with each other over something, but whether it is a directional struggle or an internal power struggle is intriguing. One thing for sure, both parties are in it to make Scancell a success. Presumably Redmile were not Vulpes plan B, and Redmile have come into Scancell off their own bat. Watching with interest (greater than 3 percent interest too, so to speak...)

Been watching SAR over recent times and see they have had a good rise presumably in anticipation of their application for funding from the Government as we had here. Interesting to see a bit more of the varying amounts awarded and the stages at which companies update the market. SAR have so far had conditional approval for an amount and it is still subject to a standard financial review of the company. They also have to commit funds of their own and increased management time to the project.
Looks like our application will have gone through similar scrutiny - they never give money away easily!

The Grant is subject to the UKRI's standard financial review of the Company and the submission of additional documentation, which the Company has provided to the UKRI and is now awaiting a formal grant offer letter (the "Offer Letter"). Subject to the Offer Letter being received and the Grant being provided, Sareum has agreed to contribute an additional c.£64,000 in cash and commit additional management time to the project, which is expected to take approximately six months to complete.

Money now gone from the account to pay for my oo shares, so either getting closer to knowing how over or under subscribed the offer is or I've been hacked.

Very true Ray, even if he tried attacking the right poster, but the fact he has launched at me says he just wants to cause as much distraction and argument as he can over the weekend during a very interesting phase in Scancell's development. There is a lot of material worthy of discussion in relation to the science, the market and the company. I look forward to reading some constructive and interesting posts over the weekend.
