Six cases of the Brazil variant of Covid-19 have been detected in the UK - three in Scotland and three in England.
Two cases of the Manaus strain in England are from one household in South Gloucestershire with a history of travel to Brazil but the third case in England is not linked - but it is not known where that individual is.

Certainly can't see a specific need for the presentation, although interesting to hear the optimistic view on the restarting of cancer trials. The covidity timeline was intriguing - as if something is brewing and is so close. Time will tell, but you can see the confidence and reassurance that now exists with a big heap of cash on hand and the influence of Redmile.

It's all pie in the sky conjecture on the absence of any offer anyway, and I don't intend maths debating in public during daylight, but as I've said many a time before you must read a post and understand it before replying to it. Merck just paid for Pandion Therapeutics. $1.85 billion. Billion posed the question, so I converted to an equivalent to sclp. Way too cheap. I believe anything like that would be rejected out of hand, but we'd need to have an offer in order to reject it of course!

That actual cash would value sclp shares at 2.27 dollars, about 1.60 sterling. Would I accept that? No.

I just did a dummy sell for 'attractive multiples' of 10k shares and got offered 24.6.
With your recent surgery maybe they are worried you can take the money AND run....

I would be amazed if there was any RNS linked to the presentation. It can't be categorically ruled out, but imo extremely unlikely. On the other hand I hope to see a comprehensive update and a lot to look forward to, possibly 'within weeks', to quote Sky News (and that was a week or so ago - tick tock....)
