Agree with your post too, Ray. I would imagine that a company that had sunk several billion into CAR-T or similar would be unwilling to change tack to a different product, or even to consider abandoning a project on which half the company's managers and accountants had staked their reputations. But when the 'light bulb moment' comes, it is fun to watch. Think about the meeting between RG, Lindy and Keith Flaherty. Arguably a transformation event for Scancell but also for Keith Flaherty. I am sure the same will (or in the background even has already) come about for others in the world of immunotherapy.

So can you say why they use humanized mice at all Professor Hotpants? Have you contacted Lindy to tell her it is a waste of time? And can we just take it as read that you still have a burning hatred of inanaco, thus saving you a weekend's worth of antagonistic stirring dressed up as 'debate?

Don't you just love the idea that a line like 'to focus on other interests' would have been better. pmsl - you'd have gone to town on that even more. Th fact is that Scancell are not renowned for RNSs that do anything other than state the bare facts. Think of the one where the SCIB1 vaccine had reached its limits (after 7 years!) and you went to town on that - but it just stated a fact. Far more reliable than an RNS all that needs picking apart to get rid of the frills and find what it is actually on about. The AGM is looming so there's a good place to ask or more information, but presumably the Chuckle Brothers will be 'committed elsewhere' and unable to attend, as usual. Now what can we read into that I wonder...? Although given Tosh's recent gender reassignment he'll probably be at a clinic for something.
