Also don't forget who is on board, and maybe more significantly which companies are on board in the Grand Challenge. Winning it would be excellent, but those companies' interest is not conditional on a win, so in that respect a win would be the icing on the cake. I somehow doubt that Ira Melman and co will walk away in disgust if Scancell only get second prize. As to what effect any success in the Grand Challenge might have on the sp, well it is anyone's guess - when you think CRUK backed a trial to the tune of about 5 million quid and it went almost unnoticed, but that's the way the markets are. If one individual had bought 5 million quids' worth of shares it would have made a large difference to the sp but would not have been anywhere near as useful in the longer term as th integral involvement of CRUK. I just like the way the biggest names in the area are getting involved, and as I said yesterday I am very relaxed about the whole thing - but of course in a deal could pop up at any time from anywhere as well. All good fun.
