Interesting possibility and definitely qualifies as achievable and 'left field.' What has intrigued me is that we can pretty much say what isn't 'left field', things like licensing, partnerships, even a buyout. Those are all within the bounds of normal routes. The question is what falls outside the normal areas of expansion and progress, and your suggestion certainly fits that bill completely. All fun anyway.

Bottom line is that the patent has been granted. That's fine for now, RNS or not.

Given the vagaries of AIM I'd be very wary of any predictions for tomorrow! Having said that, with the Moditope patent grant coming as it has after all the top-quality collaborations and the comments from the BoD (monetising of assets/near to short term/left field etc) I'm quietly turning over a few ideas of how the graph could look as the year continues.

I think yoda got seen through and taken apart by plenty here - that's why he got banned, under that name and at least one other. But moving on, how good is that patent? I know it's been getting closer and closer but it has been a long (and no doubt diligent and systematic) haul, so very much a pivotal point to go from 'likely to be broadly approved' to those beautiful words on the EPA site "patent granted." I wonder if it is the key to the door for some more commercial-based action now?

True that AIM often doesn't react particularly well to the grant of a patent, but 2 things to consider - if a patent were to be declined then it could be catastrophic, so to a degree a patent is a minimum, and of course the patent can be granted even if the material patented is commercially useless, for example this one - http://totallyabsurd.com/motorizedicecreamcone.htm From Scancell's point of view however, they now have the rubber stamp on the much talked about land grab, so imo this is a pivotal moment for the company and possibly for the sp.
