I think knowlesi is right that in the 'pre crash' days of Lehmans et al there was a blind over-assured arrogance in the financial sector that nothing could go wrong and the graph would be forever upwards, so since then there will be a lot more diligence among staff going to new posts - nothing is ever guaranteed, but imo a senior employee with an established track record in a larger company is very unlikely to take a leap of pure faith to a minnow without some serious research and reassurance. I imagine any quest for employment would necessitate that one 'dyor', especially if you were headhunted by a small 'high risk' outfit from an established and decently senior post in a leading company. I'm assuming we won't see a TR1 in respect of CF's disposal if the notifiable threshold is 5 percent, as looking at the RNS of 5th March it took them from 5.68 to 4.20 percent with 16,287,775 shares remaining. That would have allowed a drip-feed disposal without further RNSs, which would have been a bit of a cloud, wondering how many were left to dampen any rise (which seems to have dampened itself perfectly well on its own so far this week!) so as has been said before, the disposal of the entire remaining holding, while painful, has cleared the air. So bring on the next (preferably good) news.

Just for detail, and to ensure I and others are not misled, would you be kind enough to name the posters who in your opinion (not oppinion) are 'zero class' posters please Knowlesi? And while I think, you still haven't given any names to those you were calling 'team ramp', so some detail on those would still be interesting. Please could you post that as well? Might affirm your status as a 'high class' poster don't you think?

A problem is that the markets don't pay half as much attention to the science as they do to 'money in.' Look at the reaction to CRUK taking on SCIB2 - it saves scancell millions in development costs, and is a strong endorsement by a leading light, but the reaction in the market was effectively nil. Had CRUK stumped up 5 or 10 million in a payment to the company I imagine it would have been a different and far more positive reaction. This is why (purely imo) an endorsement which involves a well financed joint venture or another party taking a stake would have a dramatic positive reaction. You can find the secret of turning lead into gold, but without money poured in to get it under way it only attracts passing attention. But get 50 million in from an outside source to develop a land mine that is undetectable and kills everyone in a 100 yard radius and you'll see a huge sp rise. If you see what I mean.

When there should be a disposal RNS for the 16 million, there will only be an acquisition one of it is an existing significant holder who has bought that 6 million or more. If it is a new holder it isn't a notifiable percentage.
