TF - Are you sure you shouldn't just be on one of those rather sad internet chatrooms for lonely old people? You comment on C7's posts at every juncture, inevitably in a negative and critical way, you comment on mine when you are feeling snide or superior, or both, you seem to fish for praise from your favourite 'other' board, but you never seem to mention anything actually directly relevant to the company unless you are quoting something that has already been posted by someone else. You also seem to love to drag the content off to discuss your perceived moral superiority. Why not have another beer and take your little bicycle out for a ride along the forest trails, but watch out for runaway tuk-tuks and wildlife. This is getting sad and silly from you, time to give it a rest. You will inevitably reply in your usual manner, that's as sure as night follows day, but honestly, take a break - the longer the better. Other contributors here can put this board to far more relevant use.

My conclusion is something that I think we can all agree on - prejudice and intolerance between all manner of groups for all manner of reasons exists in all countries and all societies worldwide, always has, and sadly probably always will. The challenge is to educate and inform at all levels - not leave it to teachers, or blame parents for example - a general human duty to challenge genuine bigotry whenever it arises. An example of this could be the question that Ruck posed - why do you always reserve your sharpest and most spontaneous criticism for C7. The fact that Scousemark identified your conduct as trolling (and he isn't the only one) should serve as a wake-up call to you to look long and hard at your own attitude and approach. There is perhaps a natural tendency among those of your inclination to assume that there are two ways of understanding something - your way, and the wrong way. An example of this is your brash and ignorant statement this morning that 'there is no anti-Semitism in Thailand.' Are you actually so narrow-minded and naïve as to believe this? Or is it a spontaneous reaction to anything you disagree with? I appreciate you choose to live in a country where freedom is restricted and information less available than it should be, but your approach does you no favours and portrays you in a poor light. What happened to the small but significant acronym 'IMO'? It would make your posts a little credible if you had the humility to add such a label, as opposed to casting aspersions on C7's integrity at every opportunity with bullying and domineering blandishments that frankly the rest of the board seem to think have gone on for far too long.

C7 - a word in your shell-like old chap - maybe suggest you never say 'I think we all agree'. Try leaving out 'I think', just use the term 'We all agree'. Be more assertive, because certain headmasterly types never pick up other posters who use that phrase. But then maybe he isn't trying to suck up to you.

ScouseMark - thank you also from me for your comments and observation. Let's hope the board can move on from the trolling you rightly call out, and concentrate on some of the very significant posts that we have seen from others this morning. It's great to see Scancell not just associated with the absolute top names in the business, but very actively involved. I also find C7's commentary and other contributions to be entirely constructive and thought-provoking. It is a shame some posters having nothing better to do than indulge in continuous snide comments and arrogant abusive derogatory distractions. Looking to forward to next week and beyond!

Agree 100 percent too C7/Crumbs. Anyone who actually thought they might subscribe to that view has either done no research whatsoever or has an insidious agenda, even worse than digging up old failed slurs. Typical wide boy tactics imo.

I'll just go back through the last several times you've tried this line Knowlesi and read the conclusion where it effectively says 'at the BoD's level of holding it's a matter of opinion.' That'll save your teddy hitting the floor once more. Poor little thing must have taken quite a battering over the years.

I agree that the proportion of personal share ownership ('skin in the game' is such a revolting "wide boy" term I always think) by this BoD is fine. This topic always gets raised by the usual suspects when they can't try any other tack to have a go - it's been covered more times than I are to remember. Inevitably any purchase by BoD members would then be held up as unnerving because 'nobody else will buy/it's a desperate attempt to boost confidence, what's wrong', followed by 'their holding is large because they are trying to prop up a dead duck.' I think we can agree we've heard it all before.

Just having a drink and a chat with a bloke over a pint in my local last night. I discovered he was worth around £4 million and he told me the amazing story of how he got so rich.
Basically when he left school he had little or no formal qualifications but he was good with his hands and he knew how to sell. He knew he was never going to make it in an office job so it was nose to the grindstone time.
He left school at 15 and bought an old series Land Rover and spent a few weeks fixing it up, he then sold it for profit. He then used the money to buy another and so on. He did this a lot over the next 35 years, buying, repairing, selling, buying again.
He eventually moved onto Defenders in the 90's and then onto Range Rovers in the last eight or nine years. Even during the real bad times he plugged away.He worked long hours as you do in the Land Rover trade, sometimes not seeing his wife and kids for days in pursuit of his goal.

Then his uncle died and left him £4 million.

Crumbs - just looking at the extract you posted that says 'If selected for expansion, HPV-negative head and neck patients will be treated with nivolumab and Modi-1'. I'd hate to be accused of reading too much into it, but the confident line that if selected...patients WILL be treated with nivolumab and Modi-1' makes me think there has been a fair degree of consultation with BMS around this. It's not the sort of thing that one posts on spec imo. As ever, dyor - but the whole presentation is a very useful and comprehensive view of what has been and is going on at Scancell. Very reassuring I would suggest.
