If and when there is a GM to vote on these warrants mentioned in the RNS what % of votes is required to pass these? and are we as shareholders sure there isn't already the votes in the hands of those wanting to agree to these? I'm yet to see any support for these but with a BOD behaving as they have been surely they would have been confident these would get signed off. Clearly these are taking the p*ss when the placing was done at a 26% discount and then they chuck in these warrants. This is a cloud over the SP we really don't need now and the clock hasn't yet started ticking on the GM yet. Todays RNS was totally unnecessary so clearly an agenda. Stinks!

SBP I have re-read you are correct in was in the directors report section apologies. I agree it’s a costly balls up. I contacted GS and Pello as soon as the report was out as I was concerned about the reference to the placing in December. I got a response saying that was incorrect and an RNS on Monday would correct it but it doesn’t address the going concern placing point which isn’t helpful as people might think it’s on the table regardless of that message. We have to look forward now it’s done and hope positive news is forthcoming.

SBP I believe that section you refer to is from the auditor and not GS which could explain the difference in communication. Given a lot of the money raised previously has been for salaries and legal costs for the complex structures, products and legal opinions as per previous RNS’s salaries aside the rest of that isn’t reoccurring and is a one off cost. Recently the AGI costs would likely have been incurred as per the guidance at the last raise. The cash burn of the company from one year to the next won’t necessarily be the same so although the auditor implies a Q1 raise ( we can’t rule it out) but it’s quite subjective and I would assume is based on the cash burn based on the last accounting period remaining the same. Just my thoughts. Any investor here should already be aware of funding requirements until the AUM is at a level to cover the costs. Let’s hope for some positive AUM progress in the Jan update and if any funding is required later it’s at a much higher level. If you believe in the opportunity here buy when the opportunity allows and be patient. Speak to Pello if you want to be on the radar for any possible future raise. That’s what I did before Xmas. 10%+ returns for investors still here, TR1 holders have been buying not selling.

Although Rod has sold some shares it is good to see he has sold them at 14.5p a premium to an entity in an off market transaction. I'm sure they would have paid more buying 20m on the open market recently so I see this as positive. I would be interested to know who/ what this entity is but 20m shares is below the disclosure threshold if that is all they have.

Thanks for sharing Giles that is helpful. Hopefully the Jan update will demonstrate further progress. Like you say I think this was an easy mistake to make but it comes at a bad time and doesn’t help investor confidence in the absence of big news. Circa 5-7m increase in AUM in 2020 is progress but it’s still not enough to get to circa 75-100m needed for breakeven so hopefully 2021 will be a better year.

Raaydar correct. I'm not worried about the historic raise and subscription. I fully expect Pello to be involved in any raise going forward as Broker but my concern was the wording today on page 10 implies a separate event. I have asked for this to be clarified by GS and Pello.

Hi Giles, I actually called Pello this morning to clarify a couple of points. Mark Treharne is not in today but spoke to a colleague who couldn't help. I don't think putting an RNS out on a half day for the market when people are on a skeleton shift at your broker is a good idea. I have spoken with Pello and signed up with Pello before xmas precisely for this placing reason. I don't think it was wise to say today 'In December 2020 the Company entered into a placing agreement with its broker to raise up to a further £500,000 through the issue of placing shares'. This is not advantageous for the SP and price sensitive if the placing hasn't been executed as the SP simply goes down and we get diluted when it happens. I emailed Mark and GS on this earlier.

Giles I hope you had a good Christmas. Thanks for updating us on the new guidance for accounts. It’s probably sensible people manage expectations on what these accounts may or may not confirm. For example they are unlikely to show large revenues when the AUM only increased significantly a short while ago and therefore not covered in that accounting period. That said it should show some revenue as per GS previously and some is better than none=which is progress. Personally as a LTH I’m more interested in the forward looking statement and how positive that is. In just over 24hrs everyone can move forward from a an awful 2020 on so many fronts and be positive about 2021. I believe it will be a good one for ALGW.

Rio stated previously they were delaying testing the sample until 2021 a year later than planned. Missed the boat on the first offtake. We may never know the details but that is my understanding.

Feeks as long as future increases in production volumes are agreed with the necessary parties it can be increased I believe. The exploitation license document specifies a tonnage so I would think if you wanted to increase over this amount to say 1m this would have to be formally approved before doing so. In reality there is plenty of time to do that if and when required. You also have to consider the impact any additional supply will have on the on the market price

Well done Rod. Not surprised to see an Asian counterparty taking this volume, Rio have missed out for now and Europe as well which is a shame but Rod needed to do a deal that is best for the company. I think Jinkar summed it up nicely FOMO. Another big box ticked and this will only aid project funding. With the upside production potential here massive over time there will be plenty of room for other players to agree their own supply.

Thanks Schlemiel I agree with everything you said. This is like a fine wine the longer you wait the better it will get. I have been in this for years through the highs and lows but the asset and potential here haven’t changed. Longer term this will go well. I was more interested in the near term say 1-6 months given the expected news to come and the recent OTC listing which should benefit the SP over time as more people become aware of it and the company stateside.

What are peoples current expectations in regards to the SP price which has performed well recently before we get any off take news and after that has come out? 20p doable? We still have plenty of other news items in the pipeline including but not limited to project finance and the outcome of the cost reduction exercise (I forget the technical term for this right now that has recently been used) and updates on the other licenses so it should be a busy Q1 as well.700 shares printed on the OTC listing so far today but hardly needle moving volume.
