Yes, but regardless of a free trade deal, there will be a push in construction, and possibly pressure on supply chains. Some delay, in the early stages anyway ( currently from stockpiling, whether washing machines or plaster ) rather than no market to sell into. Builders will want to build - they may have to pay a bit more for materials.

Construction firms advised to order early against price increase possibility.
"The UK trade body Build UK recently advised construction firms to place orders for materials earlier than usual, potentially storing them in the UK ahead of costs potentially rising between 2% and 8%, if no deal is reached before the end of December.
Build UK’s chief executive Suzannah Nichol said, “The overriding message from all businesses is the need for much earlier engagement across the whole supply chain, along with enhanced forecasting information to anticipate and manage supply and demand issues.”

Also, why single Sig out amongst builders merchants. It's competitors would also have to price tariffs in, and the U.K. Construction industry has to get its materials from somewhere, imported or home-grown.

I do not know - but it seems most unlikely to me that as a turnaround stock, refinanced by CD and R, with a new team, and coming off an abysmal performance, improvements will not have been made. And set that with a definite uptick in construction and demand for materials during the second half of the period to be reported upon.

It is not only the UK, but also the EU whose Govts are spending tax money on construction. So Sig businesses there are on very similar lines to the UK in terms of support.
As far as Brexit is concerned, in the 'worst' scenario, in the absence of a free trade agreement , Sigs own industry association has said they can work with tariffs, if they come about. And all manner of businesses across the UK will adapt to the new norm in terms of lead times, or whatever else. The sky will not fall in, and construction chains will adapt as required, if required, to fulfil the increasing demand the industry says exists.

Re trades at 34.86p. It, or they, are non price forming off market trades. My belief is that it, or they, are a buy and sell over the counter between 2 parties, and notified to market. Only one trade has to be reported, but I believe sometimes there is duplication.

He sees far greater potential for disruption arising from delays at ports if goods have to be physically stopped and checked; and from new administration procedures that would have to be introduced overnight.

Hopefully it will prove temporary - govt. will spare no effort to rectify delays in the interest of economic stimulus through construction.
It is possible to view unfulfilled demand as a good sign for builders merchants.
