Visitor, markets and PGMs have been weak lately yet SLP has been strong and I admit Its difficult to watch a stock rising like SLP has in a tense environment and not get a little anxious. The recent rise shows what a little exposure can do but who knows how long buying interest will last. I will hang in there as I can't see anything offering more value at the moment, hope you get something nice with your profits.
The basket has fallen 3% in ZAR terms this month but is still higher than 2017 and 2016 average at these levels (due to Rh) although the SP has shown no short term correlation to the basket. Hopefully we see prices stabilise.
For me SHG is a no go, I'm not putting any money into Tanzania after what has happened to Acacia and Petra. However I bought some PAF the other day, its had some truly awful results recently but once it completes its tailings projects and starts paying down debt it could be the gold equivalent of SLP. Will take some patience though.
