I suggest we ignore thekenner. He/she/it was exposed as a fool in early January over the statements made about the AGM and financial help to those who volunteered to attend. It seems that as forecast the pressure is building up..... How may SHs are going to the EGM? R

Probably talking to myself but up 13% since I bought in mid-March. Originally invested as a possible takeover target by one of its neighbours but pleased enough anyway. R

Yes one might think so. Looks oversold to me, but I'm sitting on a large loss. The market doesn't appear to have factored in a buyout and the price suggests there might be more bad news to come? I'm holding until after results but I relied too much on the 12th February announcement and a couple of broker recommendations. I never learn - but SDY appears to me to be a sound business in a growing market.... Richardo

Many thanks for the replies to my post. Unfortunately the investment club only bought £1,000 of SDY. We don't have a great track record either. Bit of fun really.... I'm wondering if SDY might be a bid target for the likes of AHT. Makes an awful lot of sense to me, but wishful thinking I suspect. Let's hope the small daily rises continue....

Hi Guys Been out of the market for a couple of years, but just bought SDY having recommended them to my investment club. Are these guys similar to Ashtead which does equipment hire in the US? I missed out on them at 106p now over 900p in a few years...
