RE: What caused huge rise, if it wasn't the RNS?16 May 2020 16:06
Usersteve i belive the lag in share price rise after COVID announcement was due to Hemo flying under the radar and with a £7m market cap may have looked under resourced by retail, fair weather investors to tackle such a challange.
The price didn't seem to take off until i put up an overview of Hemos primary cancer, lupus, autoimmune plans and how their mice fit into the broader COVID picture as well as Hemos direct involvement in developing a treatment and vaccine.
Some may have been suspicious of Hemogenyx's apparent pivot to COVID, but using their mice to identify antibodies to virus x has been on their road map and been worked on for just under a year. So this move is no sudden pivot
Its worth checking out Orgenesis CEO taking about their 3 COVID plans. Hemo are definitely a key player in programme 1, with mice used to identify, test and manufacture COVID antibodies, i would also assume they are supplying mice for program 3 which is a vaccine.
