Are GDR also working on cancer treatments or other long term non COVID developments? This is why Avacta have a higher valuation than GDR and even Novacyt. Big investment mistake to look enviously at Avacta.
CS Novacyt are planning releasing 3 new tests in June you are aware of these? Exsig - 60 min test on their genesig® q32 unit Current test on 384 well units (x4 throughout) OptiGene LAMP test - 5>20 mins with Novacyt making primers
Wonder how many q16 and q32 units they have shifted
Contacted by a local 3D printer I donated to who made 2,000 visors for local hospitals and care homes, nice to have made a small difference. Hopefully a lot of of us who profit from covid can give a share to charity and do some good with our money. Among many ideas I plan donating testing equipment and tests to local care homes, if feasible to administer, otherwise will send where useful. We'll get through this togther as one :-)
Anders this is a mute questions, you would appear to be in the minority, either way Graham will undoubtedly be too busy to clarify deal when we will be getting 10m test sales update within next 2>8 days.
The government were given some of that wording by Novacyt, can't see Novacyt mixing up test and test kits. Either way 10m monthly sales coming very soon.....
My work is done. Believe any doubters can chill as you say.
By the way if you we're suggesting that I take a chill from my job then I think that is pretty rude. I can see that you self identify as someone who has "no idea about the finer points of shares, I see it as simply gambling, I have put 5k in here (Hemo) at an average of 8.5P what could this go realistically? and is there any chance it could go back to the lower amounts?"
As you can probably tell from my OptiGene thread I'm a pretty good researcher and an excellent cut and paster.
Obviously all my posts will get buried by persons such as yourself.. Please note I've got them all handy to reassure longs next week and potentially for next 4>6 weeks.
Don't drink too much, it can make you do silly things like short a stock, sell out to low and bag you a job trolling BB's lol ??
Sir. Marc Feldmann has been appointed as Executive Chairman of the Board of the Company. effective as of 9 April 2018. Sir Marc shares the Academic credit for inventing and developing anti-TNF therapy for rheumatoid arthritis, the first major use of monoclonal antibodies in a common disease. Centocor, Inc licensed Sir Marc's key patent, and then developed Infliximab, ultimately branded as Remicade. Remicade was the main driver of the $4.9 billion acquisition of Centocor by Johnson and Johnson in 1999, and is still J&J's best selling drug. Since 2012 Anti-TNF therapy has become the world's largest drug class with sales in 2016 exceeding US$36 billion. Sir Marc was previously Chairman of the Company's Scientific Advisory Board and has a remarkably broad experience of discovering new medicines, having worked through all stages from developing new concepts of how diseases emerge, through testing ideas and early clinical development, leading clinical trials, approval, registration and commercial reality
Using pre existing CAR-T levels to assess patients natural defence to COVID sounds like it could be Hemos test. I wasn't sold on its value for a while, but I can now see how useful it could be in determining treatment, shielding workers, and prioritising vaccine distribution.
RE: orgenesis have a new press release23 May 2020 00:28
This is a good presentation by Orgenesis explaining their three COVID programmes.
We are heavily involved in their BioShield programme and I suspect supplying(ed) mice to test their existing anti-viral Ranpirnase drug and their vaccine.
I'm leaning towards the view that we aren't involved in their CGT Biotech Platform as this relates to CAR-T cells and we do not have a contract with Orgenesis for T-Cells. Orgenesis signed a similar CGT deal in 2019.
In Feb Hemos CAR-T cells were shown to be affective against Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in their mouse model. As I've said many times every mouse deal Hemo sign will validate their in vivo AML, All, Lupus mice testing. The annual addressable market for the 3 is +$100b. We are pre clinical for all 3 and commercialisation will be many years down the road. A validated mouse derisk this journey significantly
I'd really like to hear from Sir Marc Feldmann, can't find any Hemo related video interviews of him. Found this short from 2014 where he talks about his research into a single novel antibody treatment and am in the process of listening to hour long presentation at the 2015 goldlab symposium. He's certainly a more polished presenter.
I belive you are part right, if Globalco improve mice during development and can agree a commercial deal they can have exclusive use to Those mice.
On top of that any patents or patent applications. Note that if the mice are used in development of a "drug" they will be covered in patent for drug. Hence henogenyx gets two scoops of ice cream, income from mice and ongoing royalty. Would expect similar deal as orgenesis.
