IMO antibody tests are done, all about the CAR-T are measure of long term immunity over 8 weeks provided by antibodies. I believe Hemogenyx are working on such a test and Randox

I've rounded off my Hemo research as we stand, mice sexy time had been bothering me. Fnnaly got around to the maths, as per last night's post. I've added in mice £ excluding royalty.

300 females at start of breeding programme.

Approx 6.4 months,
2,109 male mice (£3.2m). (females would go back into breeding program)

8.5 months,
16,942 male mice (£25.4m). At this volume portion of females mice would also be sold which I haven't calculated.

10.5 months (generation 9),
Could breed 127,000 mice (£190m). The Global mouse market is forecast at $11.7b by 2025. In real terms I've no idea on the scope for ramping up breeding and market penetration (pardon pub). I've set my expectations for between £10m and £20m for 2020. This would be block buster, what early stage pharma company has ability to become self funding from a pet project? (im on a roll lol)

For ref would take approx 51 weeks to breed 7,000 mice from one breeding pair.

I belive there are COVID breadcrumbs to follow. Marc's work into Arthritis centered on the bodies cytokine responce, it is this responce that goes into overdrive when fighting COVID causing a cytokine storm

Thanks HFH and appreciate the input :-) I should have prefixed my Hu-PHEC assumption is based on extracting cells from the patient which has the longest development path and will be a true brake through, circumventing cell rejection. Hemo initial plan to use umbilical cords and placenta's to generate Hu-PHEC cells which will have a quicker development timeline.
I understand CDX conditioning will also reduces rates of rejection and can be used in combo.

Good spot on ALL, hadn't noticed there's no existing partnership for it. I personally don't see Hemo taking it or any pruduct through clinical as they don't have the labour or cash currently. If they can achieve COVID success this could generate significant revenue for them to take their own path.

Personally I'd like to see them use their Antibody generating mouse platform and Hu-PHEC cells to target as many cancer and autoimmune conditions as possible and leave the big boys carry out testing.

My guess on strategy is based on finite duration of Mice and Hu-PHEC patents (20+ yrs). Why spend 5+ years and most of the companies resources taking one or two products to market when they could spin out tens or more products to companies with the billions required and testing infrastructure in place. #Franchise model.

Great Post Pingu, got me thinking about size of mice orders and breeding times.

Hemo announced a £350k mouse deal approx 2 years ago. As the Doc has explained in interview (https://youtu.be/3z6IKgPik0s) initial orders are material for Hemo but small spends for Bio companies. Orders will ramp once company has validated mice.

We know J&J, Global, Lakepharma, Oxford Uni and orgenesis have been familiarising themselves with the mice for 2 to 3 years and Orgenesis are using them to create a COVID vaccine. I expect sizeable orders for COVID Mice from those organisations.

In YouTube vid Dr Sandler describes Hemos mice as being superior to anything published to date. There is a lab in States that's supplying mice for COVID testing. Their first batch was for 3,000 and they could not keep up with demend. Approx £1,500 a mouse that's £4.5m.

Now for the sexy part (assumptions at very end)

. One breeding pair
51 weeks to breed 7,147 mice.

. Base of 300 breeding pairs
6.4 months to breed 8,437 mice
8.5 months 33,884 mice.

. Base of 400 (sounds like a lot of mice to be hanging around)
6.4 months = 11,250 mice
8.5 months = 42,186 mice

Until volumes is avaliable most females would be go into breeding programme and males sold for testing.

I've seen other companies advising around 3 months to deliver test mice. Hemo have had approx 6 months to get their mice horny in number.

I am assuming breeding programme is outsourced, can't see the team getting the cheese and wine out.

Speed of the roll out of mice will be down to how many mice Hemo had in January from their existing Disease X programme or for planned use in cancer treatments.

These are my own estimates, I'd be amazed if all the activities I've planned for next 3 months happen. CDX agreement will do the job a postive progress update on either treatment or vaccine would be blockbuster imo.

. Sign deal with Global Co for CDX, a treatment for Acute Myelogenous Leukemia and Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia which would negate need for chemo opening up treatment to 60% of suffers to ill to undergo chemo.

. Update on Hemo's neutralising antibody COVID treatment/short term vaccine e.g. few months.

. Update on Orgenesis COVID vaccine project, which will use mice for treatment discovery (12% royalty)

. Mouse supply deals for COVID testing. If mice are used for treatment discovery they would earn royalty around 10%>12%

. Update on Hemogenyx COVID severity study for and potential commercialisation test (Hemo would outsource)

. Possibly announce CAR-T cell COVID project

Hemo have churned through a number of directors over past few years. In 2018 they had several venture capital type board members who remained in place from the 2017 reverse takeover by Silver Flacon that led to Hemo being listed.

The board line up seems to be stable now. Adding Sir Marc Feldmann was an great capture. Recruiting inventor of worlds most valuable drug class, who took it to market. Like newly promoted championship team with good prospects singing Messi and with plans for the champions league
