Not had any notification yet of a cut to the TSB Classic Plus current account to indicate my interest rate is going to be cut - think it is 5%. At least, you have your Spanish bank ones still. If you know that something is not good or is good but has maybe hit the glass ceiling for a while then it makes sense to sell to me especially if the divi gets axed or cut or doesn't get increased as promised. I think some companies put waffle in their rnses and some are very economical with the truth so I suppose institutional investors like everybody else can feel cheated when that happens and they think they might as well make some money from poor investments. Not saying they are right but at the end of the day most people do what is right for themselves not others. Short sellers are only attracted to weak performers and can give some volatility at times to shares which suits those who trade. That's not to say I want a spread betting account. Happy to think the most I can lose is 100%. ptv might have gone the other way for you and sometimes you have to step out your comfort zone. Look at me with bpty. Share price not reflecting some of the downbeat comments on the bb again.

Is it okay to admit that it was so volatile last week that I traded this a couple of times rather than holding. The results contained more good than bad in my opinion, the professional shorts were being reduced last week and the ex divi date fast approaching. Definitely one to watch.

Can only assume that the company had no prior knowledge of the sale of shares by the institutional investor otherwise they would have spread the buyback of shares over a longer period towards 21st May. Given the general volatility of shares in the sector over the recent months, I didn't think the fall here was that big. Placing process supposedly should be complete by 5th May. Witnessed this before with 250 shares when a distressed ii has had to sell shares. The price recovers but not as instantly as some people are looking for lol. GLA
