Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
Maybe the selling of Chardonnay, Chablais, Pinot Grigio and the rest has helped.
as long as Chateauneuf du Pape, Vieux Chevalier remains on the menu.
Apologies if already seen but suspect this one is going to go the distance as well https://www.retailgazette.co.uk/blog/2018/12/tk-maxx-owner-sues-sports-direct-amid-brand-max-trademark-dispute/

House of Fraser store locator on line is very out of date but I don't think there's a branch of that in Liverpool . Planned or Unplanned. Ruderless ship https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/whats-on/whats-on-news/shock-sports-direct-set-close-15674554
Hm I think he should focus on his own company and be releasing some Christmas trading figures for HoF and Evans which were insolvent and I doubt whether anything has changed there. Probably got worse. But if there is nothing adverse to hide, there is not need for the secrecy.
Press reports at the weekend suggest your chief executive is seeking pastures new. Must think he has achieved all he can here if the press reports are accurate.
Ariel that's because you spend most of your life on the bbs as well and mainly on a bb of a defunct company as well so would it not be true to say that it is shops in general that you haven't been in. Your only motivation for posting here is because I spotted that you were deramping and then ramping ophir N'est ce pas.
Muffins eh. Look I've got a husband and we're off out to try out new beds. Speak to the others or keep an eye or your oven Alfred.
"I'm a happy chappy." well you made wrong assumptions about me on Friday. I've watched spd's decline since David Forsey left and made money with longs at spd which I now feel like donating to a good cause. A happy chappy takes the dog or the wife out of a Sunday. So if you are still here churning out post after post then I'll be making my own assumptions and they will be a lot more perceptive than yours.
Knigelk's post at 9.04 is worth a read upsidemop. spd could go bust and if you get in there now with a short then you could make yourself some serious money instead of faffing about shorting deb's at this kind of price. Not saying it will happen but then if you don't put your house on it and only make it another small position probably no harm would come of it if you watched over it with the same level of intensity as your short position here. Opinions are ten a penny on the boards, facts fewer and far between. One fact is though that Crispin Odey has a downer on dept stores yet is invested in spd which is invested in two. Work that one out. He and Ashley seem a bit panicky to me and appear to have contacted the Telegraph with a story which overstates the number of stores deb's are planning to close. Do you think the reporter got her HoF mixed up with her deb? Evening all as a certain fictional copper used to say or should that be morning all. But get a bit of a mix of stocks in your portfolio, make a few correct calls and then you can start blowing your trumpet. Not before. Toot toot.
Hi upside umop I haven't read all of your 120 posts and don't intend to either. People can be anything they like on these bbs and your lack of posting on any other companies makes it look like you have no investments elsewhere not that I care. It looks a bit odd that you starting posting only 2 months ago as there has been a lot of m & a stuff going on over the years. I agree with you that deb will not survive for long if it is taken over by Mike Ashley as he has done nothing but lose money with HoF. What happened to the Selfridges of Sport boasts - haven't heard them in a while. Goodnight.
As the posters said earlier, ,upside umop is one of these armchair commentators with apparently no investments in anything - there's quite a few of them around. Not just on this bb. S/He seems to be infatuated by Mike Ashley and I can only conclude that I am smarter than Ashley and Crispin Odey as I ditched my spd shares a long time ago. MA is smart my elbow, he's got a higher average here than anybody posting here.
Go on line and you will see for example debs selling over 200 Lancôme lines, loads of Clarins lines etc. Post Christmas, I have bought posh slipper for an elderly relative as Clarks had nothing appealing, bedding from major manufacturers, thermal socks for another elderly relative and a few younger ones of both sexes. Oh I could fill this page with boring details of purchases made but it is not worth the effort. I suggest you have been eating too many porky pies.
Realistic View if you are saying Debenhams have no suppliers then I am challenging you to identify anything you have tried to buy at Debs but you have had difficulty in finding. I haven't had any difficulties sourcing goods there but I know if you were looking for a bottle of Chanel no 5 at Christmas time - a very popular item - in HoF Bristol that you wouldn't have found it as the branch has lost it concession for that and other goods and I think the store is closing.
LOL I need to read less of the bbs for loosing read losing and insert paragraphs where appropriate but in a bit of a hurry. Anyhow can you imagine the next citation to this Select Committee meeting and the possible questions. Did you lend out your deb's shares Mr. Ashley for shorting and if so to whom? How exactly have you become the saviour of the High Street when you have closed down so many HoF stores. How can you realistically become the Harrods of the north when you have said that outside of London retail is dead and, aside from girlie weekends away Brits don't own helicopters to travel to London for an eye shadow etc. etc. Housing and COMMUNITIES select committee indeed. There will be a dossier of press stories at any hearing of customers HoF have treated shabbily and then he comes away with not even God could save x number of HoF stores. Rocket man right enough and I don't mean Elton John.
I don't suppose a management buy out could be done here. So there's Ashley bleating about his investments not going well when nobody twisted his arm to invest in anything and certainly nobody is twisting his arm not to sell up. He has many investments which have not gone well btw. He's likely to come a cropper as whoever he has written to will give him a right good grilling and investigation. It would be easier to list the HoF stores staying open than closing - no economies of scale there. His buddy is shorting intu but few other landlords want to do business with him. Suppliers and concessions pulling out and the few HoFcustomers he had left getting cheesed off about one thing or the other. Deb customers like me never shopped in HoF for years and aren't likely to any time soon and New day will get back my credit and store card if spd get their hands on debs. Hang on in because he hasn't done a Christmas trading update. I am willing to bet HoF figures are dire hence his agitation. If HoF is still loosing shed loads of money he needs to issue another profit warning and all this nonsense about him not able to engage with shareholders except "Crispin" matters not a jot. The regulations are there. This could really spiral out of control for him and he'll need a clear head. Mash holdings accounts are overdue since July according to Companies House website and there could be serious consequences if proper disclosures are not made eventually. What a plonker. My spd shares went long ago and I would never have invested had I known as much about this guy's methods He could take his company private and wipe out his shareholders. I've had to apologise on the spd bb to folk who warned me after their experiences with him at Rangers. Christmas presents have gone down really well.
