The present SP and no stamp duty puts CEY at the mercy of the day trader!. Please forgive me mrtibbles. I know you go back a long way here possibly to the days of the suspension and certainly through the big recovery and back to the current price. You must have taken a few nibbles yourself during that time. ATB
Your comments on debs are all over the place lse2000 as has been pointed out by other posters and for that reason alone probably nobody takes too much cognisance and couldn't even trace back whether you have managed to read it correctly on any particular day so the joke is very much on you lol. . I think on Tuesday you were talking about a big bounce. Can only suggest that if you think spd are going to do very well that you put your money where your mouth is and head over to that bb with your predictions always assuming you have any money. With your limited coverage of companies on these bbs, I would suggest you could fare better by targeting somebody in the public eye. Say they have harassed you and racially abused you but you are willing to keep your mouth shut for the filthy lucre. Goodnight.
That's a very attractive rewards package deb's have offered you. Would be nice to see you buy some shares in this company pretty soon. This site has you recorded as having sold some domino pizza shares but I couldn't trace the history of the buy(s). I used profits from day trading other companies this week to buy quite a lot of Christmas shopping from deb dot com today so if I am supporting the company then the directors certainly should be also. I have no where near the number of shares here that Crowman has but completely echo his comments on director buying. BA Cambridge in Vet. Medicine but assuming also hold some sort of accountancy qualification. Maybe your ideal job would have been at Pets at Home another dog at the moment but sentiment can turn in the blink of an eye.
even. Shows some confidence.
Far from the madding crowd and I'm lovin' it.
Looked like there would be a nice spike this morning when it held at just under £11 all of yesterday afternoon.
I am barred from the Jenners café for not raising my pinkie when quaffing my tea. The English think a pinkie is something else. Talking of cups and mugs, I am happy to have been a mug drawn into ctec thought I was buying shares in Celtic FC. You wonder why I holiday on the Scottish isles well came back from Greek isles with a cold that will not shift breezy sales and cold outdoor pools. I flew tcg hence avoid the crowd buy in the clouds comment but they had nothing I liked except a magic sponge.. Haven't seen spotted for a while. Can apparently get a loan from the Scottish government to buy an electric bike. Do you think Evans sorry spd will accept any custom from me lol. I thought he had bought the outsized ladies outfitters but that is probably one of Green's. I think after that select committee charade they love each other not.
Maybe Primark foresees more of this kind of thing https://www.v3.co.uk/v3-uk/news/3065360/uk-government-goes-it-alone-with-digital-services-tax-tailored-for-amazon-ebay-facebook-and-google
"Our full year outlook for the group is unchanged with progress expected in adjusted operating profit and adjusted earnings per share. Strong profit performances this year from Primark, Grocery, Agriculture and Ingredients are expected to more than offset the adverse effect of lower EU sugar prices."
A buy for me and just hope it isn't tipped in any newspaper as folk are beginning to get suspicious of that kind of thing.
Typo the Times guy was Robert Lea.
Sorry dog jumped on the keyboard. Well I looked for articles as suggested on here and couldn't find many. On 16th October I found one by Robert Lee of the Times headed up "Convatec needs more than a bandage" which I didn't really agree with having read the company's own info. The crowds dispersed and it was just a case of waiting for the Robert E Lee to set sail as the say. Happy Hallow'een I am going to look out some bandages and see if I can scare the neighbours.
Well I looked and couldn't find many
What do any of us on a bb really know about Philip Green or Alex Salmond or anybody else about whom allegations are made. The public sometimes talk about boycotting starbucks, Amazon blah blah and nothing much happens so don't expect deb's clothes sales to suddenly surge lol as customers take the pip at PG. Did PG not make a mass payment into the bhs pension fund eventually and sell bhs to somebody with no business savvy which probably helps this company anyway as far as I'm concerned. Is he any less agreeable than some Labour life peer sitting in the House of Lords and getting payments from the newspaper's lawyers. Pearls Poker probably has no current long position in debs and that's why he or she was saying that they didn't envisage any significant reductions in the short position a couple of days ago when in fact one hedge fund was closing and another reducing.
Would you mind me asking - don't feel pressurised into showing your hand - but do have any skin in the game yet? You have been posting on a couple of fora for a long time about this company and said you were waiting for the results to decided whether or not to buy. Away for the weekend so catch you sometime.
Hi Dip I think everybody realises that Mike wanted debs more than HoF with its years of loss making despite the senile comments from the likes of granpaw Broon on here about intangibles. MA's hand was forced. The pattern of locations of HoF store closures is quite revealing. The two Phils and Mike well I guess owning rather than have concessions within might be an attractive proposition. Trial by media and politicians is not really on in this country
You posted a link on a deb's exclusive of a Baileys advent calendar. Cheers. Going for that and a Famous Grouse and some 12 days of Christmas boxes to save going round distilleries for miniatures at a time of year when some are closed. Free parking for enough time to get the deb's Advent calendar last week on the outskirts of Glasgow. Not my first cosmetic one but some big names within it and another customer at the counter with one in mid October points to a winner. At this time of year, you can get additional free parking time further up at the Tesco car park and all in all it's enough hours for me to do a food shop, a non food shop and get a bite to eat. Saves cooking at home and getting fat in front of the computer. If you take another driver you can even have a glass of something bubbly. Have a good weekend.
Sorry I missed your response johnnson36 yesterday. I think as a consumer and investor in retail stocks, it pays to experience the lot - on line and bricks and mortar - and yes relieved to see you can now have a wee in Aldi Maryport and walk out empty handed with your face as red as when you went in to head to Sainsburys for your food later when you come off the M6.. Don't do ebay. Old dearie sold me a silver Mackintosh brooch which was silver in colour only, jewellery seller one Christmas was a scammer and bought a pair of dull diamond earrings. Three strikes and you're out.
I think you should be on the look out for Odey ending up in splendid isolation with the short here, HoF closing in the likes of the Manchester branch and M&S heading towards food only in a raft of towns because be it food or be it non-food, you are never going to have 100% of shoppers opting for on line or bricks. Well done to Marks in EK - not a single person who wants a job to go without when the branch in the town centre closes to move to a food only site at the Kingsgate on the edge of town. Wonder who the beneficiaries will be.
Johnson you're not Opium in disguise are you lol?
Johnson 36 How exactly are you managing to get Tesco to deliver to you for free? I understand that grocery on line deliveries even with charges are costly the supermarkets dearly. I don't do it anyway because of all the substitution that goes on. If something is not in stock, I don't want somebody else to decide what I'd like instead.
Are the two areas which I know most about. It will be a sad day when the doors close on the branch in EK as Marks was one of the first big retailers in EK new town. However, if what a checkout operator told me is correct, then no staff who want a job will be without as they have been offered jobs in the Kingsgate food only. I still shop in East Kilbride taking advantage of the free parking on Sundays and after 4.00 pm on a Thursday but the remaining stores should really be pushing for free parking all week as before in Ek.
Shame the cyclical recovery in metal prices sort of bypassed glen. Is it still stamp duty free to make a fiver on trades. Will take some of you years.
