Good morning Optimus gold. The point I make, is no-one owns more than 16% as a single holding. And the parties are not working as a concert group at the moment at least. So for a takeover bid to happen, we would require a bid, at least at full perceived value on what we know we have. Thus forgetting about the rest. Let's say such a bid was tabled, first how would the other holders respond. The private investor may well say thank you very much and take the money. But it would never get that far, as they would need to sound out the other stakeholders before tabling such a bid. What do you think the response would be, when they get far more money by doing nothing. So the price would have to be extremely attractive, and overpay, speculating, that other targets, where going to make this a bargain. No company would ever do that. That's why I remain invested. This is a long term play, as long as the share register, remains this diverse.

If a buyout is on the cards, it will be done cheaply. You will never get anywhere near full value. I believe this is what NM meant, when he said we were dangerously undervalued. Also remember from the word go, he has said he will get the best value for share holders. If the price starts to recover, then this is no longer a bargain for NC or BHP, and they will have to be content with a bigger share, but will never own it. This just got more interesting.

Gold and Silver uplift high. Also as of three days ago. Predictions for Silver prices next year, to be 20-25 dollars an ounce. The figures NM shows is calculated at 16 dollars an ounce. This actually may move the price when we open. Here's hoping .

Good morning Montecristo, good for you, however I am going to suggest, that maybe you didn't take the time to get to know some of the people you were serving lunch too. I have heard that argument to often, to my mind it dehumanised the argument. People often will have a drink or cigarette or take drugs. Many have other issues in life and find it hard to cope. We talk about Mental health as a growing issue in this country, but unless you have been affected by it, or know someone close to you who has, then unfortunately you can never understand. It doesn't happen overnight, it takes years of struggling to get to the stage, when you become someone who cannot cope. So please don't begrudge them something that helps them cope with the day to day challenges of life.

I have forwarded a letter some years ago to Government stating that people on zero hours contracts are effectively on call, and should receive an hourly on call rate.

Quite frankly, I am disgusted at some of the views in this chatroom. Anyone who understands the economic argument can only feel for the people of this country. Try to imagine a business or individual who strives every day to make a living for themselves or their family. the fuel subsidies make a huge difference to their very existence, It is not like a western democracy, the wages are much lower and the food that is imported is at international rates, as other countries sell at the market rate. As investors we all should know their is no such thing as a sure thing. This is money we can all afford to lose, if not I would question if you know anything about speculating on the open market. So best scenario is things settle down and we make money, but just as important, and I say more important provide long term jobs. or we get a Government that at the worst case nationalises the mining industry, now they know what they have. I believe it will be something in between, but for those that believe Solgold is a good bet we hold, and for those who believe the game is up we sell. However for the experienced investors on here, we take comfort in a wide ranging portfolio that allows for losses and gains.

Hi Hamoperator, your good, just correcting an inaccuracy. The copper in the motors is considerable, but motor technology will reduce this in the next few years, as they are not conventional motors, the Weighty stuff will be the connections between the batteries and the interconnects.

I would like to correct some myths on the subject of EV's . The fast charge facilities are commercial and cannot be deployed to households. Also Kia are looking at Solar cells on the upward facing body panels, as new tech will make this available in two years. As for the distance, yes the figures are about 350 miles by some manufacturers including Kia, and road tests by Autocar and Top Gear magazine get near 300, however in real life they are between 200-250 miles, as other functions of the car use electricity. Air con, radio, lights etc. Expect about 4-6 hours, longer on the 64KV technology for home charging.

Good morning ChristopheB, please do not take this as advice. As no one on this board including myself knows. Your first point is how much do we need. To my way of thinking, if we sell Alpala, then none at all, if we go to production, then I feel that the production costs, will be handled seperately. The reason that we are running out of money, is we have expanded massively in terms of people. So something has been happening in the background, and I guess is still happening. So not going to make a day to day guess on how much we require to run the everyday operations of Solgold. As depends on drilling, and how many people coming on board, and how soon we go to production. If we go to production. So like every other share, lots of unknowns, the same as any other investment. Because once you know if it's good or bad news, it's already priced in. Good luck.

Good morning Scrat, again agree, I myself recently commented on the shares traded, to my thinking we require a sustained daily average of at 0.5 % of shares in circulation. I apply this rule to dividend carrying shares along with many others, in my portfolio to give me a long term income. For shares like Solgold I don't, as this is part of my growth strategy and will eventually sell out and increase my dividend carrying element, leaving aside 10% for another growth punt or two to carry on the adventure. I also agree this would not be sold cheap, unless we get a concert group. But as the share register remains diverse, I am not worried about that at this stage. I am still interested to see how the Cornerstone story plays out, as I think Cornerstone has many options and they may just hang on till the last minute. Also with you on the special Divi, if Alpala was sold, I would invest in Dividend stocks and continue to hold Solgold ( however think that scenario unlikely ) .

Good morning Scrat, I have just recommended your post. Not something I do often. I cannot disagree with anything you have said, and you point out various scenario's, all of which are possible.
