By not diluting the stock and doing this through loans and bonds, we avoid being taken out cheaply. It's one of the reasons I was most pleased about NM bringing on a Finance chap, to get the funding for production. We are still a way off. I was just answering your question.

Sorry Earthling, but that's what a concert group is. A full takeover and delisted. They just have to play the long game and pick up a percent here and there.

You are correct in what you say, and I should have added that 75% of the shares are required by the combined parties. On your point of advising their clients, they are not obliged to do this, until a concert party has been formed. Been doing this too long and have got stung big time. I still made money, but Fortune oil was worth 50-60 times what it got taken out for.

Good afternoon Earthling, the very last thing we want is a JV with Newcrest and BHP, this would mean them working as a concert group, this is one of the main reasons I am interested in what happens to the Cornerstone holding. If they get a working concert group, then they can take the company private, at the price on the day. There are some technicalities to it, but you will never get fair value. This is why it's important to keep your eye on the register, and how the shares are distributed. We want the widest range of investors. This is also why I don't want any more dilution by Newcrest and BHP taking up offerings, as it increases their percentage. Nothing to worry about yet, but something we should all keep an eye on. The way forward is too use the asset we have and raise capital to fund through to production, through a series of loans and bonds.

Afternoon Jerry, must admit, didn't think it would drift this low. My major concern is there is nothing to announce for some time, we need to wait till October for Newcrest to be freed up, but as I have mentioned before they won't bid, as this would free up BHP. I hope we can get some announcements in October on funding for production, but like MRE3 which is now pushed back to the first quarter of next year, we may struggle for some news.

Afternoon Jerry, a couple of reasons that you see shares of a few hundred pounds, is that people pay monthly into an isa and make small purchases, or managers do on their behalf. Only way to beat the dealing charges.

Must admit, I got this wrong. I believed that this share would jump about between 25 pence to the 50 pence region. The fact we have broken 25 pence, and not in a good way, does give me some short term concerns. My main one being, that this is going to make this vunerable to a takeout bid, before we achieve anything like full value. I believe NM is probably looking at getting funding in place, as soon as possible. As for drilling permits. I think we would all like to know what is holding them up. Or at least a date, when this issue will be settled. I don't believe NM is holding anything back about this subject, as not in his interest to let the price drift, as much as it has. Hopefully we can obtain some statement from the company.

Afternoon ThomBola, just my viewpoint on why the share price is what it is. This is the long haul. I don't believe any bid action in the background, as these things always get out. So question is what's happening. Firstly some people are exiting shares for gold, this is reflected in the gold price as demand increases. Secondly shares have been falling around the world and people who have made money from Solgold, may exit now and pick up a bargain or two, and come back at a later stage, DLG are now on a yield of 10 percent and dividend cover of 1.6, have some of that please. Thirdly the daily trading levels are tiny, no demand for this share. We need to be turning over 10-15 million a day. However for me the long haul is worth it. Although our costs are up, we are at last seeing the start of preparation to fund the development of a low cost, high return, go for surface gold strategy. As I say just my thoughts.

Look at broker notes for any share. They have Vodafone at over 2 pounds. That would be nice as well. Don't see it this year though.

Looks like the charging point on EV's maybe over egged. Kia are bringing out the Niro with a solar cell roof. It can charge itself between 30-60 percent a day, and has a real life range of 265 miles on a full charge. 5 years from now, we will have no need for charging points. As predicted range of over 700 miles per charge.

Good morning Cookie, agree on both points. As you know, I believe he's going for production. I am pleased with this development, as I suspect this these positions, are part of the fund raising. Maybe for once, we are further along the road, than where we think we are. Also is it possible, with these two crucial positions being advertised now, that NM knows what target, we are going to start development on, for the go for gold strategy.

Also I would expect a press release from the relevant government office, saying that this had occurred and the time and date. Although the likes of you and I would not probably find that info, as personally I don't have enough time in the day. I can think of a couple of posters who are on the button with the latest developments and would post them in this chat.

Good morning Jerry spaniel, you may well be correct. I wrote my last dialogue from memory. I thought it was October 15th for Newcrest this year and October 16th for BHP next year. Also believe someone commented with the same dates recently. Could someone with the dates please post.

Good morning Cookie, you make a fair point, maybe a government buy in or indeed some sovreign wealth fund. However with our latest board appointment, this may be in the form of bonds or convertible bonds. I prefer the first option. I think we will have a clearer picture this time next year.

Good morning Twohits, yes that's my understanding. I have suspected we would get MRE3 in October, just before Newcrest are released. Just in case a offer is made in concert with other parties, maybe BHP to stop them offering a higher bid. This is how companies are taken out on the cheap. At least with an updated MRE, we would have some bag of a gag packet equation for what the value is. Not that it would help us in that scenario. However although I speculate here, it's not what I believe will be the outcome. I believe the share book, and distribution of shares make this harder for any party to wholly owned Solgold. Hence, why I have stuck with the production arguement. NM needs time to get this up and running. In order to get close to fair value.
