Good afternoon solvg93, if you are correct, then maybe they didn't intend waiting this long. Maybe they thought it would be sold by now, and they have now realized that NM has no intention of selling.

Tiger, good project management is key to delivering a project on time, and on budget. I have worked on enough big projects, and had my favorite project managers, as I knew, however complex the task, they could break it down, and take the time to understand, what was required, to get to completion, in order to deliver that component. I was on the technical side, not project management, so I was one of the team, that provided the solutions. So absolutely this can be built. Mapping the Oceans floors, or the universe, or DNA sequencing systems, are far bigger projects, which the first time they were done, were achieved and in operation today. Just look at NOAA systems on climate change, that I believe is the 8th wonder of the world. The complexity and interface solutions, are like something out of science fiction, but today, they are up and running. Building a mine is easy, compared to these projects, and the mapping of the ocean floors, is done on a budget, less than is required to build Alpala. But let's assume I am wrong, and this eventually gets built at double the budget. So what, that's still an incredible bargain. I don't understand your argument.

Even the people on the let's sell it now side, understand it will be sold on the cheap, as to what can be achieved by going to production. Only you and Tiger, seem to say it can achieve a near full or fair value. Tiger has given his reasons and we disagree. You have never explained your reasoning. I was just giving you the opportunity to outline your thoughts, so we can all see.

Earthling, again Zoros syndrome, you don't read. I am asking you how your scenario plays out, giving all the parameters I outlined. I wrote a post about investors recently. You can tell an experienced investor, if they can explain, why they are invested. They don't have to be right. They understand why they are invested, and can explain in detail. I am just giving you that opportunity to show people you understand, why you are invested. Please lay out your scenario, why near to full value can be achieved, in a sale. I have laid out many times why it cannot.

Tiger, you keep on about dilution, but Alpala, will be built with zero dilution. When NM is on about minimal dilution, he is talking about CGP buyout, and future funding of exploration on other tenements. Their is no further dilution for Alpala.

Agreed Copperpot, and indeed what NM has said on many occasions. Exit points along the way. Some on here however, have said they would exit at 46 pence. Well we got that, and they didn't and some moan about it. When we get to 50 pence, the same people will not exit, because it's going up, when we get a fluctuation and it falls back, they will be demanding NM should be sacked. You can't win. But I am closer to your thinking Copperpot, the longer we go the better, and should NM get to production, then the sky really is the limit.

Good morning Earthling, I said he cannot get a sale at full value, or close to full value, I stand by this statement. After nearly 40 years in investing. I also believe, that all the posters on this board, with the exception of one or two, understand this. But if you still disagree, could you outline a scenario, where full, or near full value, could be achieved, without going to production, and taking into account, the various holdings, across the book, and describe why these people would sell an appreciating asset, at a knock down price. I for one don't see it.

And I also base my estimates on the information at the moment. I posted this thread, because, I wanted people to stop and take stock. This is about, looking at NM's ambition to take us to production. He says he will sell, if he gets full value, or close to full value. But we all know, that can never be achieved. So he is sincere, when he says, we are going to production. If we are still independent, after DFS, then I will be even more confident of our future.

That's my point BBG, not only, do we have the assets, we have the assets, that the world needs to modernise and change, and we have them in abundance. Yes, building Alpala, won't be easy, but once it's built, if we are still running Solgold, the rest follows. I just don't understand, why some on here, want 50-60 pence a share. We are invested in what was an AIM company, that has moved forward. If all you want to do is double your money, lots of shares out there, that once we get a break in Covid19, that will start to recover. This has always been a speculative investment. Totally agree addicknt, I thought about not putting a value, and today 20 pounds, is pie in the sky. But it gets the point across. Imagine, l showed an example with 3 Alpalas, and the other tenements as zero. That won't be the case either. Sure some of our sites, we will abandon. But what I wanted to show is that a take out of 1-2 pounds a sell, is cheap. Yet many can't wait a few years, for the prize. Some for good reason. Being they need money now, or their age. But this is a once in a lifetime event, and I believe, we should be looking at the future. If NM can pull this off, and get to production, Italian may get his boat. If he sells cheap, then BNC gets his boat.

Let's not forget, at these levels, if we get taken out, we get taken out cheap. These discoveries are rare, does anyone really think one pound a share is a good deal. It may be at this point, for Alpala, with a PEA/PFS. But not as we develop.

Correct newtoit, it was an example of around ten years, if we didn't sell cheap. My point is the readon, people are looking at us, is for Alpala. But the rest of our tenements has not escaped them, because at the moment, they attribute zero value. Someone said that would give us a market cap of 67% of BHP. So what, that's what becoming a major is all about. We would be a copper gold major, BHP is big, but it's not rich in the commodities of the future. The point is not what I think the share price is or will be. I am trying to show the upside of being an independent mining company, that is producing, with gold today at 2200 dollars.

Good evening SharkeMare, the answer is yes, BHP can approach NM any time they want, and agree a takeover price, that the BOD would recommend. What they cannot do before 15th October is make a hostile bid, and they must support BOD decisions.
