Sorry Cookzzz, that's not an argument, as the situation is the one we have to go with.
No one owns a large defining share, so you don't let the anybody, have a too big holding, that is the diverse book argument.
It's not about lots of people voting against NM, quite the opposite.

Good afternoon Mathersfinger, have explained it before, but will briefly rehearse the argument once more.
If we see some consolidation, say NCM or BHP buy CGP, then whoever is successful, would own 20% of Solgold and 15% of Alpala into the bargin.
Even at 20% the book remains diverse, but we see the intent of the bidder, as the book is now less diverse, and so with further consolidation, we may see a bid situation arise.
I have been watching, waiting for this to happen. ( it hasn't yet, so a takeover is not likely )

You have set up a straw man argument.
DGR, Tenstar and NM do not own 51% and never have.
So we look at the real world scenario
So if you and your wife own 20%, then you need a diverse book.
As if you have someone who owns 80% then you cannot do anything without their say so, and could even be booted out.
A diverse book means that your arguments are tested and you can only continue running things, if you win the arguments.
In a non diverse book world, the biggest holder gets what they want, so if BHP owned say 40% and you and your wife own 20%, and BHP says I want your 20% cheap. Guess what happens.
A diverse book is everything, look at the FTSE 100 and tell me if any of those companies don't have a diverse book. ( they all do )

If NCM, BHP and CGP and Dobbin the donkey all got together, then this is called acting in concert, as a person who invests in shares, you should at least understand this. ( you don't )
Rules have to be adhered to, in order to act in concert, and we would know. ( we don't, so they are not )
But where your argument is really really silly, is you have no experience of what happens when the book is not diverse.
Do you really think that if BHP owned 40% that we wouldn't have had a takeover by now. ( of course we would )

Now for anyone who still doesn't understand the power of having a diverse book, as part of our defense. Really you should educate yourselves.
This whole debate is taking place because we have a diverse book, that should be enough for individuals who talk rubbish to look at their argument, which are non sensical.
If BHP had 40% of Solgold, then we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Schlemiel we need to dilute to fund drilling. But let's dilute in an intelligent way, and exclude NCM and BHP, from future issues. It's all part of the defence that people on here said couldn't happen, because it was illegal.

Miagi, this all comes down to trust, do you trust the Solgold BOD. I do. If you think NM is a liar then vote against him. If however you think he is working in the best interests of shareholders give him your support. The time has come, to stand up and be counted.

Addicknt it's not mysterious, people understand this is going to production, they understand, that this is a once in a lifetime deal. They don't want to sell out cheap. Just look at the evidence. We have not had a bid.

I have been thinking about the recent 0.6% issue, maybe that was all he could issue before the AGM, and to go further in his defence, he needs our backing. He has mine.
