They are not going to get an offer for all the reasons I have put forward on this forum.
However yesterday, my argument gained even more weight.
If a bid was being offered for CGP or discussions were going to start, then they would not to have a fund raise at less than their current price, which they are currently trading at. They wouldn't need to fund raise at all.
No one is going to buy CGP, and at the moment no one is going to bid for Solgold, again for all the reasons I have laid out in this forum.
Everyone in the this is going to be sold camp for the last 7 years plus has been wrong.
The reason they have been wrong, is because they do not listen to the cooperate position.
They say things like, well Solgold would say they are going to production but it's a bluff, because really they are selling it. What utter tosh.
A serious question for yourself and others.
What would Solgold have to say, to convince you that we are taking Alpala to production.
I bet your answer is nothing, because you don't believe anything NM is saying.
Slowly over the next few years, the this is going to production argument will not have to be made , because at some point it will be undeniable.

That comment is lowball addicknt and you know it, the comment was on the story of CGP needing more money. We all know that. It was just evidence to the case of CGP is in a tough place.

Can't believe the CGP story is still being debated, nothing has changed, they will always need more money, they are about to run up debt that is far more than their market capitalisation, they have a court case possibly.
Why would anyone buy CGP, the 15% of Alpala is valuable, but has costs associated .

Thank you Damien, so current share price is around 5.60 Canadian dollars, and they are raising cash at 5 dollars a share. So they are out of money.
Does this sound like a company that has a buyer lined up. They have no bid, and no bid coming up. I think they will have some trouble raising the money. I wonder if anyone will underwrite this.

We are valued at over 1.50 pounds a share based on Alpala alone, doesn't mean someone is going to pay it. I know RK you are not saying this. I must admit I am unsure of CGP's next move.

Hi addicknt, what happens to CGP if no bid arrives, after all they are going to need cash soon, for their other projects.

Hi rcgl2, the problem with that is we need to understand, costs, revenue and profit.
We will get a rough guide in the PFS, and a good idea of this information, once we achieve BFS.
But in truth, we can't understand this, until we are producing and generating profit, because CGP are dependent on 15% of profits from Alpala only, and what will the bill be then.
We can all estimate, and we will all get it wrong.
Nobody is going to buy CGP, because of the above and so many other reasons.

Good afternoon FatherTed, maybe it's because the liabilities are so high, I don't think the Solgold bid will be bettered, because that would have been the time for someone else to bid.
Think about it , if you want a stake in Alpala and the rest of the tenements, do you but Solgold shares or CGP shares.

Tandmeister, what an idiotic thing to say. Two things need to happen, this vile abusive racist needs to removed on a permanent basis, and the people ticking up his posts also need to be removed, admin can do this in so many ways. I think the most effective, would be a mobile telephone number, that you get a text message, which you have to confirm that the request came from your phone, when you register, then if you are removed from the site, you cannot get back on with that number, and depending on the level of bile, reported to the police, for consideration of prosecution. The law in this country, allows for that.
