ToS1963 I am not blind to dilution, we have 2 billion shares in issue at 37 pence a share.
Let's say by the time we have built Alpala, and we have a number of other projects, maybe one or two starting production.
By then we may have 4 billion shares in issue, but if our NPV is 20 Billion by then ( not unachievable ), we may have a market cap of 10 Billion and that would equate to 2.50 pounds a share.
Just a guess, no evidence to support these figures, but my point is as long as we discover value, we will translate this into a higher share price.

ToS1963, he has explained many times, we will issue new shares, for exploration, so we get limited dilution.

Schlemiel, please can you explain how we get hefty dilution. That's not NM's plan or indeed anyone's plan.
Please explain where you have heard anyone in Solgold say we are going to dilute in a hefty way.
It's all uninformed opinion on this chat room.

I agree with you Redknight, the first date they gave for the PFS was 30th Sept 2020, very disappointing indeed.

Good afternoon Redknight, we have moved on a lot since Sept 2018, for one, we are funded to DFS, we were not in 2018, we are about to bring out a PFS early next year. ( later than we all wanted )
I feel we will get the CFP next year, this is going to up the stakes even further, and give us a clear route to production for Alpala.
I like everyone else will be interested in the AGM on the 17th Dec, to see if the cooperate message has changed.
To be honest I doubt it has, so once again people will not listen to what is being said, but spin it to suit their own views.

Hi samdan, don't know your investment strategy, tax position or age.
Maybe open a SIPP, and between that and your ISA allowance, you can shift a lot into that, as although that is long term and cannot access cash immediately without tax, you can reinvest without any tax implications, but guessing you are already aware of that.

Let's remember in the early days we were financing Alpala to PEA, dilution was done for pennies. We are no longer in that situation.

Yes the AGM is asking for permission to grant extra shares, so ask yourself why?
I would suggest a normal way to excellarate drilling, and add to our defense.

Schlemiel do the maths, yes it takes time.
But let's say that Alpala is financed with zero dilution. What happens to the share price. It goes up. How much is anyone's guess. We then dilute at a higher price for exploration up to PEA on other sites , we then offtake on the financially viable discoveries, and do the same again.
This I believe is what NM has in mind when he says minimal dilution.
Lastly, when Alpala is up and running, then no further dilution at all.
I have said many times. This is not a share that will give a quick return. This is a growing company, still in its infancy.
NM and the board are focused on the long term, not how quick share holders make a profit.

Seriously read previous posts, not a good source. On Porvenir, we forget why we are expecting good news at Porvenir. This goes back to the IPS.
So, it is too early to specify what we have at Porvenir. Porvenir is being defined, let's let them carry on and define it.
Alpala alone will give us a price of over 2 pounds, just patience required.

I have given reason and evidence supported by facts and the cooperate message, as why production is the most likely outcome, and may I add the desired outcome for the company and shareholders alike.
Please don't repeat the addicknt line about just because we have received no bids up to now, doesn't mean we won't get a bid in the future. Addicknt said that, I have never said that.

ToS1963, I agree about the standstill, but that hasn't stopped BHP making a bid, the fact a friendly bid never arose, was because NM and BHP are poles apart.
The rubbish being sprouted about no ones wants to bid first, is for the birds.
I think it was Redknight who pointed out lots of junior miners get taken out before PFS. So waiting for PFS is a rubbish argument as well.
I can knock down any argument that a bid is imminent, for one good reason.
If you stop and think about any of the reasoning, common sense prevails.
The only question you have to ask yourself is this.
Why has no one bid for Solgold up to now ?
The answers are numerous, but when that is understood, you realize that although a bid is possible, it's not easy.

Forget about the standstill with BHP, other companies could have launched a bid, when the share price was in the 20's.

Tiger I suggest you buy some more CGP shares to add to your holding, as they are cheap at the moment.
Who knows you may get further chances to buy CGP shares more cheaply in the future.

Eactly smickster, like any engineering project, engineers use best practices and are constantly improving processes and techniques.
We are getting this right at the HLD and LLD. An excellent start to any civil engineering project.
This on top of the grades we have at Alpala.
This will be a mine that is enormously profitable, as the payback is under 4 years at PEA.
Yes that's correct at PEA.
That figure will improve at PFS and DFS. ( watch this space )
So while I understand Redknights concerns, I would argue, we are not comparing like with like.

Hello RedKnight, just had a look at what Earthling said, again he's lying.
I have always said that NM and the BOD recommend a bid or don't recommend a bid.
I have never said NM decides if we accept a bid or not.
He can certainly turn down approaches, and then any potential bidder would have to go hostile.
You are correct, I would turn down 1 pound at this stage of the game, but you and I know, that this would give people one of many exit points along the way.
