Jerry of course we have the mining knowledge, are you saying that we are not producing a PFS.
Have you any idea of the knowledge required to produce a PFS.
We have to give the HLD and LLD, and hence we have a detailed plan to build Alpala.
We cannot produce a PFS without this.
So either Solgold have the ability to build the mine, hence they have the expertise to produce the PFS, or they don't and we will not produce a PFS.
I know which one I believe.

Hello Andywest, NM will be returned, the article is rubbish, nothing factual in it.
It says that CGP is considering which way to vote.
They are the only party involved that we know how they are going to vote.
So resolutions will be passed, and NM re-elected and we continue to production.

Well said Colonel, exactly as I see it.
Look at how many respected posters on here, argued that the FN offtake for 100-150 million would never be signed, because it was a bluff to get BHP to bid.
They also accused me of not knowing what I was talking about, and couldn't I see that COVID was an excuse.
Yet people are still listening to these people as if they have some insight, that others don't have.
Look at the evidence and the facts.
NM has done a brilliant job, in extremely adverse times, and he is acting in the best interest of all shareholders.

Hi Redknight, as you know I agree with a lot of what you say.
However, just look around the world, and see how Covid has affected economies in the western world.
It has been even worse in the African and the South American continent.
Where we now have two vaccines, I don't believe Ecuador is going to recover as fast as us, and we will have more tragic news to come on Covid.
So I think NM has performed well, better than well.
Not to pleased on the slipping of timescales, and he took a long time to explain why.
But with all that's been happening, I think the share price has held up well, and not dived below 20 pence.
A quick point on Jupiter and Saturn. My post on 15 Dec 2020 10:22 pointed out it was on the 21st.

Morning ToS1963, sorry if my post was too harsh, I agree with you on some points, it's just on the chat room everything NM does is so badly twisted out of shape.
Yes NM did load up at a lower price.
But a member of the BOD buying shares at any price means that they have a confidence that this is worth more.
I would have been more concerned had he been selling at the time, as it would have meant either he needed the money, or didn't believe in Solgold.
One further point, this has not been the worst of times for investors in Solgold, we have all made a lot of money.
The people on the fringes are the traders and the people who brought in at the top.
People have to remember that successful investors never buy in at the bottom, or sell at the top.
I remember when this share was about 1.5 pence a share.
I never had the confidence to buy in at that time, as we were desperate for cash.
Had I known what I know today, my investment would have been in the millions of shares, not what I hold today.
But I didn't as I had already taken my position and at 1.5 pence, I had lost over 60% of my investment.
Not once did I come on this chatroom and complain about it.
Because I understood at the time, that this could be big, and if Solgold couldn't finance further explanation, that someone would buy what we had, and I would have not made such a big loss, and who knows may have made a profit in that scenario.

Why is the share price, the price it is today?
Is it because NM has mismanaged Solgold and not sold out cheap.
Or is it, that he had done a wonderful job, to get us to where we are, and he has not sold out cheap.
Everyone is saying, what share price, they would expect, by selling Solgold.
The world doesn't work that way.
Do you hear BHP share holders saying, BHP should be broken up, as selling it in its component parts, would achieve a better price for PI's.
Of course not, as share holders, are there for the long term.
So are the investors of Solgold.
Neither BHP or NCM are saying let's get rid of NM and get this cheap, they are in competition with each other.
Yes they would like a bigger holding, but they know that deposing NM is not the way to go about it.
Try some clear thinking, what are the reasons that you vote out your CEO.
Are they, that he is corrupt, useless, has not brought the company forward, or the company has no direction.
NM's performance has been exemplary and none of the above describe the man.
Are you really trying to say, that he will be voted out, because he doesn't sell the company below value, so to please some PI's, who need the money desperately. Please tell me the last time that happened.

The conspiracy theories will never be over, because people with zero evidence, will always want a quick buck, as opposed to building a major miner.
So NM will be reelected tomorrow, and it will be business as usual, and onwards to production.
I am just waiting for the next conspiracy theory, something like, of course BHP voted to retain NM, that means we are selling.
No amount of evidence, will convince people, that the board and NM are going to production. So people here since 2013, have been saying a bid is imminent. The most useless reason given is the big boys, won't allow another major to form.
How on earth do people think they formed in the first place. NM, will be returned to office tomorrow.

Summing up your situation, You have voted for NM to retain his job.
No pay rise, although the extra 200K is not all his.
Despite voting for him to stay, you say you won't be upset if he goes.
Finally you say, you want someone in charge to maximize share holder returns.
Do you mean you want someone in charge to sell it cheap, or you want someone in charge to maximize shareholder value, which means taking it yo production.

You are supporting NM fully in the AGM, and your doing this by saying he should step down, and make way for someone else.

You will be able to see Jupiter and Saturn through your telescope or powerful binoculars after sunset.
That's the two most spectacular planets not only in the sky at the same time, but next to each other, so they will fit in the same view.
Once in a lifetime event, as not going to happen for another 800 years.

Agreed rcgl2, I suggested to one of my friends that maybe GGP had run it's course and should maybe sell, he got in at 1.5 pence, and when I suggested he had made his money, the price was 26 pence.
He stayed invested and GGP have continued to prosper. ( he is invested in Solgold as well )
As you say rcgl2, although the two companies are different, the strategy is the same.
If you can do this alone, with greater profits for everyone in the future, then why wouldn't you take this course.
If everyone sold out, just when they had either a great discovery or product, then no new companies would ever be successful, and the Big companies would have no competition. ( I know some on here have that mindset )
We have something special, in a country that want's us to be successful, with a production model, with scale of costs.
Where the infrastructure is favourable. In short all the requirements to become a successful mining major, but we have people here shouting sell it, sell it, so that I can personally prosper.
We can see who the investors are on this chatroom, and we can see who the chancers are.

Interesting post rcgl2, I don't follow the GGP story closely as I am not invested, however have two friends who are. both astute investors in my opinion.
I do think it's a simple equation, about bringing to production or farming out.
If you can raise the capital yourself, with a short payback period, then it's a no brainer, you go to production.
If you need help, then unfortunately you need money to do this, so you farm out or sell out.
From what you say rcgl2, looks like GGP had to do this with Haverion, but don't have to with Scallywag.

To many people in Solgold forget that the company is not here to make them rich, but to grow into a successful mining company in its own right.
That is what NM is doing, he is looking at the long term.
Sounds like GGP is doing the same, but in a more limited way.
