I agree smickster and have said so many times, I think they possibly can fund by dilution and debt, the problem they have is the other projects that also need funding, and as I know nothing about them, I haven't commented on them.

Redknight as you know the payback period is a means of calculation.
We will have gearing like any other company, so we will be paying a dividend after our first full year of production.

I know Redknight, that is disappointing, but when we get the PFS and CFP, this will put CGP under pressure.

rcgl2 can we not issue up to 5% of shares without pre-emption rights, that was my understanding but I am prepared to be corrected.

The PEA gave us a payback period of 3.6 years, not 20 or 30 years which is typical.
The PFS is going to improve the payback period, by an updated resource and higher gold price.
Ingo has stated that he has people queueing up to finance this. We just need the CFP.

rcgl2 I am aware of what you say, but we can call for an EGM and set the agenda.
The difficult part for me is the timescales involved.
We need to get to DFS faster, and then put CGP out of there misery or they can cough up.
So we need to not call for this before the CGP situation is settled.

I know we have some holders of CGP shares on here, I don't want to go onto the CGP chat and ask a couple of questions of CGP, as not invested and have no intension of investing.
Maybe someone could ask it for me, and come back with the answer.
My questions are:
How far along the path are CGP, in raising the funds to finance the Alpala build ?
And if they haven't done anything, why not ?

Hello Redknight your link says that CEO's are often sacked by the BOD, when they disagree with him.
Are you trying to tell me that the BOD think that we should sell this cheap and not go to production.
I have seen no evidence that that is the situation.
If NM's job depends on the BOD supporting him, he is here for the long term.

Hi Redknight I do define anything under 1 pound as lowball, as that values us at just over 2 billion pounds and we have a PEA at 3.3 billion pounds.
I may consider 2 pound a share as lowball, should we get a PFS over 6 billion pounds NPV against a 4 billion pound offer.

Sorry ohwhatanight you miss Mathersfingers point, they couldn't care less, CGP want a bid, so they cash in.
They don't care if it's low ball, the point is many here do, including the majority of the PI's

Redknight may I say that if I see any evidence of a buyout, I will change my opinion. ( no doubt the silly people will jump on me and point out I was wrong, I know you won't )
I just see no evidence of consolidation, I didn't even see a failed bid for CGP, apart from our own.
CGP are a sitting target as far as I am concerned.
Why no bid, I have posted what I think on the subject, but am still surprised no one had a low ball offer for CGP.
Maybe if a low ball offer for CGP had been tabled, they would have taken our bid. Who knows.

Hi Aquinaga, I think we will have PEA's coming out faster.
When we drilled Alpala we had two Donkeys and two drill rigs. ( someone correct me if I am wrong, took 3 months to take their first position, as we had no road.
Today we have 12 drill rigs, and more on the way, a road and recently moved drill rigs by helicopter.
I think we will get to PEA a lot faster on the areas we are drilling.

Hello zoros, to answer your question we just did this with Valuestone, as they acquired new issued shares and 0.6% of the company. BHP, CGP and NCM, were not invited to tender.
How about Barrick getting a share, just don't give any one party more than 5%.
Keep the register diverse, and let them buy on the open market.
