Morning Shipright, that is not what the RNS said. We are moving some of the underground infrastructure to above ground, so that we don't have to build twice for projects near to Alpala. This saves us money in the long term, and makes our next project, near to Alpala cheaper and faster to bring to production. So we are getting it right first time. You are correct, that we have some time to go. But that has always been the case. All the best.

Exactly killjoy, we now understand the reasons for the delay to the PFS, in the redesign of Alpala, in order to save costs on further projects next to Alpala, but do feel NM could have communicated this sooner. I suspect, at the time, he had no idea how long this would take, so quite possible that PFS could be delayed further. Let's hope not.

Morning Talatum. That is the power of a diverse book. It makes a bid harder. NM will make sure that BHP and NCM are kept out of further issues, and so dilute their influence. He will get the PFS completed, and the CFP. He will proceed to bring Alpala to production. He will also use the same formula to bring other Alpala like systems to production, as he has said many times, we will do things in parallel. Each tenement, will be funded individually, and stand on their own merit.

Hi Redknight, let's wait and see how much of the report turns out to be factual.
I think this is all doom and gloom, at the moment, but the share price hasn't dived.
Let's see how the PFS and CFP progress.
Over time I have learnt not to jump to conclusions.
I don't believe they have had site of the PFS and the mine designs.

Colonel on your last point on Valuestone, being on share register, which I will repeat makes us more diverse in a small way, is not the issue here.
Until they entered the race, we only had speculation of the Chinese being interested. ( sensible speculation, but not fact )
Now it's fact
I think your right, trying to depose NM, was BHP's last desperate throw of the dice.
Only an agreed price with NM, will secure this for BHP.
BHP cannot bid against the Chinese government, and they know this.
But we need to wait to see the CFP, and whoever funds this will surely give us a clearer indication of where we are going.

Afternoon Smickster, just logged out so I could see your disagreement with addicknt, your correct it is tosh, he looks at anything that supports his view, he was even supporting the article before it was posted by Mog. ( I know this, as he would have posted it first ).
As for the validity of the article, unless they have seen the contents of the PFS, they cannot make the assertions that they have.
OK logged in again, and the world is calmer once again.
Really there has been a lot of noise since the AGM, with people saying things have changed, but we continue to the PFS and CFP, and I believe we need to sit back, and let this play out.

I am unsure of this, as I think that saying that the mine is redesigned, so we can't mine the main core later is not factual, unless they have seen the PFS and the mine design.
It implies they have, otherwise how could they reach a figure of 17%.
This doesn't sound right, at this moment in time.

Thank you iceberg, not great news, but we can't have it all our own way.
I wonder when the PFS arrives, if they will discount that along similar lines.
We are going to require the CFP as soon as possible.
On the other projects, makes sense, why we get no real value attributed, until we get a PEA on each of them.

Exactly Shipright, at the moment it's rumour, we need to read it, so we can fact check it.
The NPV, maybe reduced because of increased cost on the mine construction.
However this is offset by the latter savings, as other nearby projects come on line.
As said many times, patience is required.

No evidence, no facts, just someone who is so convinced they will get their world view.

Has anyone stopped to ask themselves why BHP voted against NM.
After all, as some posters post on here, they could approach NM and offer a fair price for any part of the company or Solgold as a whole.
So this tells us a lot. BHP want us cheap.
They will never offer us full value, or anywhere near it.
So we have two positions left.
1=) We take this to production, and we as shareholders get a nice return.
2=) We get taken out cheap.

I believe that this can be defended, hopefully the sell them cheap brigade, will exit at the points they want, and this chatroom will have a more positive and realistic outlook.

Morning Miagi, you are correct on point one, a CFP will remove uncertainty.
However on point two, I don't understand how that creates uncertainty.
Ecuadors elections are between two parties.
The incumbent is pro mining, and has drafted legislation in order to attract mining companies into the country. This has taken time.
The opposition is even more pro mining, and wants to go further, and attract businesses that are going to be set up, to compliment the mining industry.
From the political side, I see this as a win win situation.

Agreed Iceberg, if the fundamentals are good, you make money.
I have missed out on many opportunities because I have been unsure, so have not invested, but I don't lose money, this approach sometimes takes time.
But when I do invest it's not just 10 or 20 grand.

Schlemiel that is what makes an investor, if you are going to be successful, you cannot invest money that you need to live.
You must invest, with at least a ten year outlook, and even then it may take longer.
If you get a return sooner, then you have a result.
But to be successful you have to take a long term view.
If you want a multibagger in a year, and you want to buy in at a low price, then these shares are rare.
I have only had 1 in 40 years.
I could have had another but didn't invest in GGP when 1.5 - 2.0 pence.

Woah NM does not care about PI's.
Really come on, the FN deal that does not dilute us to hell, was about the small shareholder, because he has done this, the eventual payday, in my opinion, will be far greater than GGP. We just have to be patient, as all good investors know.
