I think there may also be brokers acting for them, who have built positions to transfer to JCC at an agreed price.

Then the 26 pence bid makes sense.

I can see another bid from JCC of around 35 pence and no one else bids, and people start selling.

Then brokers take up the cheap shares to sell to JCC at an agreed price.

Chinese company wants something on the cheap.

They get brokers to buy shares which they will pay an agreed price for in the future.

So no major holdings declared.

They currently have 12%

But if others holding shares for an undisclosed price, which they can purchase in the future.

Now at present this doesn't apply to Solgold as the book is too diverse.

But if one of the main holders sells their stake too them.

Then 50% can be acquired over a short period of time and then the price doesn't matter.

It will decline as any bid would be blocked and slowly people would get fed up and cash in.

Just what I watch for these days.

I think Solgold have chosen to put out this RNS to support the current share price.

It says it was non binding.

I think JCC will be pretty annoyed, being used by Solgold to try to up their bid.

No affrm, we don't get a vote, because it was rejected.

They either need to come back with a serious offer that the board would recommend shareholders to take.

Or they need to go hostile, and the Solgold share price would rocket, so a hostile bid is out of the question.

It looks like JCC made a lower offer on Monday and we received the higher offer of 26 pence today from reading the RNS.

Is this how you see it?

Pbow I never said we wouldn't be bought.

I said we would never be bought cheap, as Solgold can go to production and so can defend.

I also said a hostile bid would be expensive for the bidder.

However if we get under 80 pence a share, I will admit to being wrong.

26 pence is an insult as others have said.
