What you say Pbow makes sense.
I feel it would be useful for everyone on here to hear your experience.
I agree with the local issues, but maybe the expertise is brought in and we train as we go.
The only project I worked on was TML as an electrical engineer when I was a younger man.
Although we had cost overrun, the people running the operation were extremely good and when problems were encountered.
Which they were from time to time.
They made sure everyone was included in resolving the issues.
This didn't mean it was quick, but what it did mean is that it was fixed correctly and we avoided duplication of issues further on down the road.
It was continued improvement as we went along and everything documented, so we had access to solutions as we proceeded.
A great way to train apprentices, as great apprentice programs are usually from great projects.
This is a win win for everyone involved.
