Firstly i am sure the company could do a brand new gas well near UD2 - i think the gas has been pretty much proven, just the previous operators cement job failed.
A new well would cost many millions

So problem with that is we would need funds to do it, placings or debt. Neither really suit me, infact our slow and steady building of revenue suits me better - slowly clearing any debt and no more dillution.

So i see the current oil campaign as a multiplier, each well will pay for 1.3 new wells
or more likely one new well and pay off YA each year.
So end of next year possibly 6-8 well
paying for 12-16 the following

meanwhile regarding UD2 share the data and see if someone wants to partner us and drill a new gas well. I would love to see that in a RNS.
If not in end of two years we could do a new well ourselves and still finance additional new oil wells too.

Frr seem to have a business model now that will build a solid and stable foundation to build on.

I think the cement job failure should have been reported sooner, but until we speak to Zaza we can not know reasons why this was not the case.
These flow rates
Can someone confirm that these flow rates are sustained as i think they are initial, Initial on extended - is that different from just initial - perhaps mole can elaborate as i am unsure.

I think most of us knew that UD2 was one of three things and i discussed these this week

So we have just been told which one today, Zaza hinted no more gas wells for two years by FRR. I suppose the writing was on the wall at the last meeting.

I said earlier this week we should just count the oil for future revenue until the gas became confirmed. The oil is looking very good and so the company future looks bright.

I am not surprised at the fall today, some would have been here for the transformation quickly if the gas had been a success. Now its a slower but firm growth, some will move on for the next fast mover.

I do think some questions need to be asked at the next meeting and i for one have a small list that i will try to put thru in a firm but respectful way - in the hope we get clear concise answers.

We must remember that we would need pipelines to transport gas, maybe we need to strengthen the finance before pushing on with the gas, or someone else will take that part on

What i know
oil flowed before stimulation and increased after
We also know that we did not damage the wells as we have sold a rail load of the black stuff

Conservative flow rate guesses would be 25% extra sustained - upper limit much higher

UD2 we know they extracted gas and saw the flare to prove it
Now we also know that they have flowed successfully the shallow gas fields.

We increased the tonnage at UD2 and then radio silence
News was - FRR have no intention of doing more gas wells in next 24 months

What is not known
Is the above due to failure, or due to someone else doing it.
Maybe even just due to cost of gas wells, where we can quickly add and make revenue with the oil.

The gas is the big unknown here, so lets leave it out of the equation for a minute ( even thou i think its positive)

So the oil, we have a company financing the next oil well, i assume because they see that as worthwhile.
We are now entering a self sustaining position where wells pay for themselves in under a year, so next year we could finance another 3 wells and snowball effect starts.
we have additional zones and seems the company are looking to add and exploit them.
This increases the flow rates further and increases any future CPR

So on the oil alone, in my opinion we have a sustainable growing company and the risk is lower now than it has been for years.
We again can add in the gas which may be no real value, viable and increase of value or transformational.

So just the oil is enough to make an investment here fairly safe or at least about as safe as you ever get on aim.
We are not at risk of drilling 3 dry holes - we have oil and its flowing.

personally, and please do not use this bit as trading advice, i believe its more likely that the hidden data is exceptionally good.
Thats why a company will spend hard cash to drill a well with us

I am not sure why we are not being told what it is about - it could be that the full details are still not available.

However i do feel that considering Zaza said it was using a sledge hammer to crack a nut - that they must have some info.
I think its time the nomad and YJ were requested to look into this and if some info on what stage its at, has it been resolved and importantly what its about.

Gas in Georgia is currently at very low levels, you can find that info for yourself
So why would the Govt be unhappy with FRR if they have unlocked that hydrocarbon and therefore offer huge potential for the country? If Frontera have found how to extract it at commercial levels then it also means that could be replicated at other blocks in Georgia too.

As for companies fighting over FRR, i have never ever suggested that is happening, but for the record i quietly believe that data sharing and discussions are on going between a or multiple majors, and most likely if it is, about the gas. They will not be fighting over the contents of the box - they would be negotiating.

The Georgian Govt have most likely seen an opportunity they missed when first granting licences - expecting small scale production as the soviets logs would indicate.

Its a bit like selling a house and finding the new owner found a million pound painting under the floor boards, you would seek advice on whether you could claim some of the money.

Its in a flat base trading pattern fellas, shorting is not a good idea, you could find trying to trade it between the two levels if your brave enough, its the only way to make money during a period like this, or stay for the ride.

However people are getting frustrated and impatient.

However when you look at what happens 9/10 times with a share in a flat base - then really nothing to worry about.

We are in flat base now and have been for many weeks - in fact trading around 10% has to happen for minimum of 5 weeks for us to be in one.
They can happen for many months

What it means is the share is in a position of strength as its being held up, the drop has ended and we are held in a trading pattern.

What is very often following is a 100-150% rise over a week or so.
So if i could i would be happily buying more ready for when the market is ready for that huge push up wards.

Those posts earlier this week that i posted about trump and Germany reliance on Russian gas all make part of the puzzle.
I said many times this was political and that we should let the company get on with it, that any news blackout was for a purpose, its actually protecting us , even if frustrating.

I also coined the phase you do not fight over an empty box and again that now really does seem to be true.

i see our disruptive poster is back and trying to get credit for saying this was political, well sorry mate, you were not the first and i was one of a few who said the arbitration showed we had something of value, you know the phrase.

Russia must want to cut off any possible new sources of extensive gas, The oil i do not think matters to them. Gas to Europe is a big hand. The ability to timely turn off the taps when Europe needs it most would cause gas shortages and huge spikes in the wholesale price.
Shah deniz has already taken away some of the increase in gas in Europe and the North pipeline from Russia seems to be on hold. This must be frustrating Putin.
Now FRR could be sitting on a new Shah deniz, closer to Europe and on land, close to existing pipelines. Thats a huge threat to any future expansion plans Russia may have had.
This seems to say we have a mega asset, it also highlights some dangers, we should not kid ourselves - its not guaranteed that Russia does not try to pull Georgia away from Nato and closer to them.
It seem that they have made a triojan horse situation, embedding Pro Russian activists in Georgian political circles, the people may fight against it especially as the financial improvements increase in the Country.
Nato has dragged its feet over giving Georgia membership, that delay if it continues could make some people look at the devil they know rather than possible future with ifs and maybe's.
