RE: DIVI PREDICTION ANYONE?15 Jan 2022 19:32
@TrashMonkey - if you’d like a more serious, less prickish, answer:
There are 2.85bn shares in issue, not 22.85bn, so a dividend of £1/share (on the basis that a dividend will be circa 80% of net profit from an asset sale) would mean an as yet unspecified number of EUA’s assets being sold for roughly £3.5bn. The asset sale details are yet to be revealed but thanks to various investors’ (who know much more than I) research, it is not unreasonable to make an educated guess that we could feasibly sell some of our assets for that value, or higher, thus entitling stock holders to a special dividend of £1 or more.
But you should obviously do your own research and come to your own conclusion on the risk vs reward of investing into any company. I’ve done mine and am committed to seeing my EUA investment through for the foreseeable future, through any special dividend and beyond.
