I’m actually not sure left and right wing comes into it - when people start believing conspiracy theories left right and centre, it all blends into one and I think they probably reject usual political discourse altogether, believing the entire system to be rigged - I think the only reason so many of the nut jobs subscribed to Trump in the US was because he was one of them but I think it could’ve been the same if Trump had run as a Democrat. If he’d just been a regular right wing politician they wouldn’t have deemed him worthy of their support.

Onthebwagon, I find it really surprising how you’re convinced that your truth is the truth, when there’s only one country getting completely obliterated in this war and it sure as hell ain’t Russia. Personally I don’t know what’s gone on in the Donbas and certainly if Ukraine has been shelling it without reason then obviously that’s wrong but it is certainly no excuse for bombing thousands of innocent civilians in Ukraine. There is no argument that Russia is simply defending its own people whatsoever.

I would 100% not trust social media rumours. Over the last few weeks I’ve seen “rumours” of placings and RNS’, not to mention people spouting horse sh*y trying to chart EUA and pretend that technical trading patterns are relevant when we all know the only thing affecting this share price right now is world news. Any rumours on social media are very likely to just be people trying to influence others to suit their own trading plans.

Question still applies as before - could you imagine how frustrated I’d be after holding my shares for two years only to see the big RNS released in the two days I’m without half my shares? Two days or ten makes little difference - if I’m transferring into my ISA I want it to happen straight away…

Sorry, when I said my LSE notification I did mean London Stock Exchange, not this site! :) Seems like an app would be a great idea - the Share Talk and Vox Markets apps both purport to do this but doesn’t work in practise as I’ve tried before. My email from the stock exchange came in at 7:45 yesterday morning, obviously didn’t affect me on this occasion but could do in future so push notifications to my phone would be really useful.

Anybody have any insight on how to do a proper Bed and ISA with Hargreaves Lansdown? Their website suggests I have to sell the shares in my regular account, wait four days for the trade to settle, then transfer the cash to my ISA and rebuy the shares? Surely there has to be a better way that means I’m not without my shares for four trading days…?

I found out about this morning’s KAV RNS via Twitter about 25 mins before it showed up in my email ping from the LSE alert. Bit poor really… Anybody know of any good / reliable phone apps that do RNS push notifications for selected companies?

Emailed Keith this morning to enquire about when we might get to see the final NKT JORC as it’s now been two months since we know Eurasia received the draft. Obviously he couldn’t and didn’t say anything specific but reassured me that EUA appreciate shareholder’s patience, are aware that shareholders are awaiting updates on a number of topics, and that “updates will be provided when possible.”

Going to have to just sit out the war I guess. Going to take a step away from reading here on the daily until there’s some semblance of peace. Not trading a penny and not selling a share.

It was an EGM that was announced on 9th April last year and was held on the 28th of that month - the AGM wasn’t announced until 4th June and I’d expect the timeframe to be largely the same this year. There’ll only be an EGM if the board needs stockholder approval for something more urgently than waiting for the AGM. Like a dividend payout… (here’s hoping)

Well they can face an angry zoom meeting then! If anything that gives more stockholders the chance to quiz the Board than would otherwise be able to in person so it might not be the worst thing.

CAW - nice work, let us know if you receive a response! I’m on the fence here. Sticking around until the end regardless (like many, with an average of 23.9p I’m down too much to sell at this stage anyway really but still not worried). I’m happy for the BoD to keep quiet due to the NDA’s, less happy for them to keep info from us purely because of the war. I’m also comfortable knowing that I have no urgent cash calls before the second half of the year and I know that the Board have to face investors at the AGM in June, at which point they’re going to *have* to have something to tell us or face a very angry room of stockholders.

Only adding one comment here today - like many investors I’m nursing heavy losses at the moment but holding on, and even bought another 15000 shares the other day at a shade under 10p.

All I would say to everyone who has suddenly appeared on this board and is shouting the company down, is that the fundamentals have not changed. The share price is only down now because there’s a war on. Anyone screaming scam or fraud is completely unaware of the company bottom line, which is looking very positive. Whether you are happy to absorb the risk that war poses to your investment is a matter for you and you alone. It’s come at a terrible time for us economically, and that’s just the way of the world. Hopefully this situation gets resolved as peacefully as possible and as soon as possible.
