I respectfully disagree MEM
GRH is either an insider or he isnt. It doesnt matter to me. What matters is he shares info I dont have access to and doesnt hide behind a keyboard like the rest of us.
Please give it a break. If I'm honest I wouldn't share that info either.

I'm not sure he is "helpful" from advfn, sadly. He was the ultimate poor FUD monkey! Lol! Looking at his lse post history, he could be purps from there instead? Either way, take a contrarian view from either pays dividends in my opinion....
Bang on James. I'm topped out here but wont go bankrupt if it goes all Pete Tong. As ROB regularly
states, there is always a residual risk. So much can go wrong. Being able to sleep at night is important to me. But boy the risk/reward is totally beyond normal comprehension. And the odds are increasing in our favour as time goes on....a really enjoyable ride
Oily.....Yes you are indeed right. Criminal and civil cases are different to some extent but my.point is neither are a laughing matter. There's usually a lot of money at stake if not your liberty. And yes, I spent a decade working for a govt law enforcement agency where my record was 100% conviction rate - not that it is relevant here. Poaching is much more fun than game keeping so I got out. ;-)
@carj
Ref your post regards wet gas potential
Try reading keith oz's post @0817hrs para A. It was only a few posts down from yours....

.. A poster here has suggested that PRD may find wet gas or gas containing CO2. Not so, both MOU-1 and MOU-3 have overpressured dry gas with clearly stated hydrocarbon (methane and longer-chain) content.
I dont see any drama here. Do you?

Great question raised there by androcles. I'm no O&G expert but have experience of commissioning and decommissioning electricity infrastructure. I would guess that decommissioning a subsea pipeline is an expensive business and so carrying out a thorough condition assessment of the pipeline prior to decommissioning would reduce risks and therefore costs. I dont have a view on whether the survey costs would be recouped by the savings made, however. I leave that to the experts here. GLA
I watched the first 45 minutes of that depressing 'engagement' and then had my day job to attend to. All I can say is that i feel truly sorry for the Irish citizens. They're in for a tough winter ahead. Public sentiment can change in a heart beat for politicians. Mag mell and the like can quite easily be back on the agenda in no time. Sadly, though it'll be too late for this winter I guess. Back to the main prize in Morocco for me.....
I'm with TT
People stressing either lack conviction or invested too much in the first place or both. They should either revisit their analysis or, painful as it may be, reduce their stake or cut their losses. God knows, I've been there a few times over the years!
I finished building my position over a year ago and resisted topping up before the last rise for the very reason that I wanted to sleep at night.
Everything stacks up for me right now. Patience is all that is required. If the worst happens and the JV falls through, then I will consider increasing my position.
It's a tiddler, so always comes with risk to my mind. But boy its exciting too. Good luck whatever people decide to do.
Real eye opener that! Thanks nametrade. Anyone hazard a guess at what the price for a barrel of Brent might be in a few months time? Is it safe to say that it will be far north from here? How far is anyone's guess.....
