Wow- had a speedy reply from the Fund Relations Manager at Ruffer LLP who stated that they now hold 15,625,000 shares as per the August 2018 rns.

Koovs & Peel Hunt could take a leaf out of Ruffer LLP with regards to communicating with shareholders.

Ruffer LLP have been reducing exposure in the retail sector.

"As the markets declined, we took out some of the risk in financials and the retailing sector, as events there showed that profits can fall as fast as, if not faster than, share prices."

Pointless contacting Peel Hunt the Nomad/ Broker or Koovs as they are pretty useless.

TalygarnTom - That March 2018 report states that Ruffer LLP have 12,325,000 shares.

So they have either reduced even more & the Koovs corporate site is wrong or they took part in the recent 10p placing since March 2018.

23rd July 2018 rns Notification of major shares states that Ruffer LLP have 19,125,000 shares.

Quite complicated, but something definitely doesn't add up.

BUT on 16th Nov 2016 RNS after a placing, Ruffer LLP bought 2.5 million shares at 50p (ouch) to take their holding to 19,125,000 shares.

So at some point Ruffer LLP have dumped nearly 4 million shares. I don't remember seeing an rns probably because a certain threshold has not been breached.

Ruffer LLP is reducing in other AIM stocks too namely MTL

I can't find if Ruffer LLP are leaving AIM, but could be worth writing to them.

Maybe Koovs or Peel Hunt could clarify the position, but I wouldn't hold my breath as all the detective work is being done by us shareholders.

At least we know that at some point Ruffer LLP have been dumping shares.

He claimed the other week that Cover Story were struggling & losing money, when in fact a link was put up showing that they were increasing revevnues & opening new stores. I asked him several times to back up his claims, but he couldn't. Has made many other wild claims too.

If Ruffer LLP or any other Institution were dumping stock, at some point a certain threshold would be breached & the company would have to be informed.

The many millions of shares that have been dumped in recent months must therefore just be from disgruntled/ forced sellers.

paddybear- the potential is definitely there, just has to be steered in the right direction.
The business plan has failed under the current management, but I am very confident in FLFL, especially Avni Biyani who has done a wonderful job with Cover Story.

I am also hoping for some serious cost cutting starting with staff wages.

The CFO Robert Pursell is on £175k- I wonder how many chartered accountants you could get for that in India?

Non exec Directors all on £50k with Samantha Camrerons half sister Emily Sheffield on £75k that includes a £25k consultancy fee.

Can you imagine if this lot were on performance related pay? They'd be owing the company a lot of money!

Koovs still remain ominously quiet wrt Q3 figures. Many retailers have reported for this period (Oct, Nov & Dec). In India alone, we have Shoppers stop who beat estimates with amazing figures.

Indya, Max Fashions, Myntra, Jabong, Spencers, Fabindia have all updated on their progress.

Considering that Koovs have come off back to back appalling results with now shrinking revenues (by 40%), there isn't a lot for new shareholders to go on. 'Green Shoots' is just not good enough especially considering the form of current management who have promised a lot in their rns's but delivered absolutely nothing for long term shareholders.

As for existing shareholders, they have obviously had enough, with concerns just falling on deaf ears.

Is this the way to run a listed company on AIM? Whose Nomad/Broker has kept quiet for well over a year (Peel Hunt last had an 80p Buy target- what a joke).
It's no wonder holders are selling out (especially the one who has been dumping 100k tranches over the last few months.

Koovs are sitting on 3 month figures, which surely have to be an improvement on previous numbers, but why won't they relate these to the shareholders & the market? Why are we being kept in the dark?

I have never been involved in such a badly run company that consistently fails to deliver.

Well done Koovs. The CEO Mary Turner has overseen the share price from over 70p to 7.6p today & still remains in post after the spectacular collapse under her tenure.

A proven failure with a flawed business plan.

I really hope that FLFL have a greater say in how this company is run.

Surely there must now be mounting pressure to update the market & shareholders.

With the current management having failed long term shareholders with their flawed business plan, what are peoples views on a take out price?

I do believe the 15p fundraising will be completed by the deadline in March (27th). What I would like to see would be FLFL purchase a few shares on the open market to take them to 30%

The takeover panel stipulates that once this threshold of 30% is reached, a cash offer of at least the 12 month previous high must be made. This will be at least 27p looking at the charts.

I have watched the current management flounder over the last couple of years & it looks like they were well out of their depth in India. (80p to sub 8p)

It's sad that Koovs management keeps shareholders in the dark. Many retailers have updated the market with their Q3 progress, but Koovs remain quiet, letting shareholders scratch around doing their own research.

This isn't the way to treat shareholders, especially longer term shareholders.

When I last checked, it wasn't illegal to change ones mind about management, especially when you see the share price fall from 80p to sub 8p.
