Firering Strategic Minerals: From explorer to producer. Watch the video here.
Are you seriously suggesting that I meet someone of your ilk? Behave yourself.
So now you are implying you have access to inside information- of course you do......
'Figures will be horrendous- they always are'
WOW- what a scientific response.
So you have access to inventory levels in the warehouse? Stop talking rubbish!
And yes, you do have an agenda & an axe to grind with Koovs.
At least Jambon puts his money where his mouth is & buys stock after he states that he will.
I'm not the biggest fan of management, but they have a little more credibility then you.
27th March date is a fact! I have personally seen the email from the CFO as have several posters here & elsewhere. So you are now calling him a liar.
You need to be able to back up your wild allegations, something you have failed to do when asked on numerous occasions.
And why would figures be horrendous? How do you know that? That is a blatant lie. You do NOT know that!
The KB share purchase is NOT late. They have until March 27th. This has been stated both here & elsewhere.
I agree that 7 months after first announcing the deal is very slow, but then you do have the CEO Mary Turner in charge.
What have you found out about the RBI reviewing the transaction? That is a very serious allegation that could have a material affect on the share price.
There has not been an rns for over 2 months now (Dec 13th).
That is the longest period that I can find since 2015.
Considering that the company is coming off the back of appalling figures, you'd think they'd be ultra busy trying to move forward, especially with it's tie up with Future Group.
Koovs really need to give shareholders some info as to what is going on- is this the way to run a company & to treat it's shareholders?
Yes Matt, agree that there could be some pretty good news flow in the next several weeks. Just waiting for the 15p a share cash injection which should just be a formality as it has already been agreed on.
Now that Future Group have an extra £60 million in their war chest from the Skechers sale, the deal could be closer than we think.
Great post Matt!
As I continue my research about Koovs, could you or anybody help me with the following, as I am thinking of adding more to my large holding here. I have recently been looking at their International expansion especially in the uk with N Brown (Simply Be).
From 2017
Mary Turner, CEO of Koovs says: "We are absolutely delighted to be working with N Brown and to bring the Koovs young fashion brand to the UK with Simply Be, a brand that celebrates and empowers all women whatever their size, through fun and exciting fashion."
Looking at the Koovs collection on Simply Be, there are only 6 products, all on sale with 3 of them at discounts of 50% or less.
https://www.simplybe.co.uk/shop/1/_/N-1ytvgps/Ntt-koovs/products/show.action?hnid=2000&type=cmr
I have looked through old reports, but can not find anything about how successsful interantional sales have been (either with Simply Be or Souq.com in the Middle East).
Maybe I may have missed, but would appreciate any help- thanks.
Disclaimer: Everything I have posted above is FACT, so no need to report me.
Paddybear, just like Pascha, all I can suggest is that you visit some of the big cities in India. The tech savvy millennials love their western culture, hence the massive success of Zara, H&M etc in India.
Have you now sold out?
Jambon, what are the terms & conditions of offering money to other investors at the AGM who you believe do not hold any shares?
Does one have to hold a certain amount of shares & how much are you offering?
Can see some easy money being made here ; )
You make out that sales are Koovs specific.
Let me teach you something.
This is the norm in India!!!!!
Check out Myntra, Jabong, Cover Story, Faballey, Voonik, Fashionandyou, Stalkbuylove, Amazon.in, yepme, andindia, etc etc etc- THEY ALL HAVE SALES ON THIER HOMEPAGES!!!!!!
So I suggest you stop misleading with this sales rubbish as if it is only Koovs that have sales on!
ollie, I have been to India many times for business & pleasure, so am pretty much in tune with what is going on there & how it is rapidly changing.
What that particular poster is saying is false. The ironic thing is that he has nothing to do with India & has never even been there!
Koovs is a known fashion brand.
All I can suggest to him is to book a flight to India, either Mumbai International airport or Delhi Indira Gandhi airport- he will be very shocked!
There is a lot of misleading rubbish being written about the history of Koovs. Read the following on page 10 of the IPO document.
http://www.koovs.com/corporate/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Admission-Document-5-March-2014-2.pdf
Koovs India was established in May 2010 as a general e-commerce business in India, operating through the website, Koovs.com. In August 2011, Infotel E-Commerce, a company controlled by the Nahata family, acquired a controlling interest in Koovs India to focus the business on the sale of mobile phones and other electronic goods.
Koovs.com’s focus subsequently moved to fashion products and fashion-related accessories when, in September 2012, the Company, founded by Lord Waheed Alli and Robert Bready (formerly Product Director of ASOS plc), began to supply Koovs India with consultancy services in fashion design for an e-commerce business. The new Koovs.com website was launched in September 2012 with the aim of becoming the leading fashion e-commerce website in India. The website offers a fashion-forward, value-focused concept for young and aspirational consumers in India, with a wide range of branded and private label apparel products
There weren't any shops & the e commerce site was absolutely tiny before Koovs came on board.
It was a tiny platform for mobile phones.
It was NOT known for selling washing machines etc.
Nobody in India associates with it has being like that. It is ONLY associated with being an online fashion company.
Those statements are extremely misleading & false.
What are peoples thoughts on a best case scenario price here- both bulls & bears?
If many things come together, I'm hoping for 25p
The things that I am looking for are: The 15p fundraise going ahead as planned, decent yearly figures in an April trading update, more concessions opening (as the pure online strategy failed), strengthening of the management team (hopefully Avni Biyani taking over from the hapless joke Mary Turner), more big Bollywood names coming on board, the ditching of the UK segment & cost cutting management salaries.
Please add & discuss...….
Joe- I have not seen it in writing that Ruffer LLP are dumping all of their AIM stock, but there are a couple of other companies that they have now sold down on.
Who knows if they will exit Koovs altogether, or keep their remaining 5.55 million shares.
Jambon- your humble apology is much accepted ; )
I have two questions to ask about timings.
1/ why would Ruffer LLP be dumping their stock now at a loss of millions of pounds with a 15p placing just around the corner?
2/ Why would anybody be buying shares when Ruffer LLP have dumped 10 million & could possibly dump their remaining 5.55 million shares?
Jambon, so you got virtually the same email that I did from Ruffer LLP- AFTER YOU CALLED ME A LIAR!!
Funny how there is no mention of the 10 million shares that they have dumped, bringing their holding down to 5.55 million shares as per the Koovs website.
Are you willing to apologise to me?
Jambon, I couldn't care less if you held shares or not- it's irrelevant.
For the record, I do believe that you hold 3.8 million shares.
My investments are my business & nobody elses. I do not need to prove what shares, properties or watches i have.
Even if I did show you my holdings, you will still have that bitterness towards me that begun when I started to question & correct some of your statements on here.
If you spent more time researching & less time bickering, you'd be in a far better place now : )
Yes, the main thing is it wasn't company specific. Well done to everybody involved, Bitbuybit (Matt) & TalygarnTom, Trebuchet kid on Twitter & especially Pascha who first notified us all that Ruffer LLP were exiting AIM. My apologies to Pascha once again for doubting you.
Be careful who you accuse of lying Jambon. It was a combined effort to find this out, one where I was involved & you were not. Once again, you were out of the loop.
I did email Ruffer LLP last week, which got the ball rolling. As I said before, they reiterated what they said in the 9th August rns.
It's obvious that they only wanted to tell me what was in the public domain.
I have shown this email to other posters.
Thanks TalygarnTom, it's amazing what we can all achieve when working together.
At least we know that this isn't company specific. Once Ruffer LLP are done, I can see this bouncing very strongly, coinciding with some decent news flow.
It makes sense for Koovs not to release any positive news with Ruffer selling down.
