He may not ever sell RENE as it is relatively small and it is one of the few recent success stories out there. Who knows where this will end, but the lack of communication and general inaction from the FCA is spooking all investors.

It would be madness shorting Reneuron at this point. News could come out at any moment that would double the SP. Anyway each to their own...

It doesn't help that papers like the Daily Mail post regular hysterical stories. It is turning into a Northern Rock without any logical reason why. These companies aren't all going to disappear tomorrow. If people just hung on for a while he'll probably turn it around.

We seem to be developing a daily U shaped chart over the last few days which is a little odd. Not sure if we have UK sellers in the morning and US interest later on or there is another explanation?

Especially as a lot of these companies get their lowest paid first year analysts to knock these things up in a few hours.

It's nice to have underlying strength in the SP on no news for once. It's a very good sign for the future. In the past everyone would just bail out after a rise. Clearly our current investors are more in it for the long haul.

I admit it, I bought the additional share to double my holdings. I have real belief in this company.

£1.97 five years ago, £1.71 today. Not sure what to expect over the coming months, but the opportunity cost of holding onto these shares is painful.

The SP almost always drops for profit-taking on Fridays. Would be worth day-trading if we didn't have such stupid spreads (e.g. 5.08% at present).

If anything, the more important news is how the first cohort are doing. Any improvement (or at least no decline) could be argued to be more significant than improvements in the second cohort.

Almost every share out there have run-ups before news is released. The authorities just turn a blind eye to it. It hasn't helped public faith in the markets.

I've got an IG account which I don't use anymore due to the number of sudden 'blips' in the prices that wipe out your positions. I do use it to check a price now and then but it's annoying to have to log in. I don't know why Google in particular is so unreliable, it isn't rocket science to keep a data feed running. Yahoo is a different story, have they done anything right in the last 20 years?

I've had this problem for a few days. The price just stays the same for hours and isn't updating. It is pretty unforgivable to be so poor.

It is really encouraging. For the first time in many years there is an underpinning of support and I feel the downside risks are much less than before (e.g. chances of trial failure or running out of funding). Really looking forward to a positive RNS in a couple of weeks.

Agree it's possible they were nearing their end date, and as Juxtaposed mentioned some people struggle to cope with gambling with large paper gains.

I worked in the dotcom bubble in the 90s and a colleague sold £15k worth of options to do the roof on his house. Two years later he told me he could have put a roof on every house in his village if he had kept them (283 houses).
