Thanks Clive, that is a sensible viewpoint and I agree there probably won't be a lot of news in the coming months. Before the last clinical results the chance of RP success was considered to be 25%. I would say we are nearer to 50% now. As it is only one of three possible revenue streams it is worth hanging IMHO. I just hope it will be 2 years and not more, I'll have tied up a wad of cash for 15 years by then, which could have been working for me in other areas.

This makes no sense. Excellent clinical results last week. Not sure what else this company can do. Isn't curing blindness a decent start? Seems to be disconnected to wider stock market falls.

The one thing this company needs to do urgently is fire whoever is in charge of communications. They have been
embarrassming since the company was formed. The comms on the last set of eye results tanked the share price completely unnecessarily and then they pick yesterday to release the latest news. We'll be the most successful company to go under at this rate.

I just find it beyond belief that we have a signed a huge licencing agreement with Fosun, excellent clinical results, funding for two years, other product streams with great potential (Exosomes and Stroke treatments) and our SP is a fifth of what it was in 2007 when I bought in originally. We'll end up being bought for £2 a share from a large pharma and all the potential will be lost.

If it was lucky share it wouldn't be at a quarter of the 6p price (pre-reverse split) after a decade!

Agree, I think in the longer term RENE is one of the safer bets in the AIM, with multiple pipelines. In the short term the main thing to worry about is incompetent communications. They have been improving with Michael Hunt's presentations, but the last RNS on results was a car crash. I don't think anyone is very clear on what the results actually told us. Hopefully the next one will be positive and well-written.

It happens all the time and is never investigated even though it is the easiest thing to do. An intern with a list of names could quite quickly work out patterns in insider training, but don't hold your breath about anything being done about it.

Can't believe I've got back in, this company will be the death of me. On the positive side I've bought three quarters of my previous holding at half the price so the downside is less I guess.

GLA, I have no idea if this is a stupid idea or not. I think multibagging is further away and the surgical issues will slow down time to market, but at this valuation, it is too good to miss with the IP they have. A takeover is much more probable now I think.

Agree Chester, the RNS were so poorly written that it made me question the whole way the company is run. Either it was masking poor data, made a hash of presenting positive data or the data was genuinely mixed. In any case it left more questions that answers and whoever is in charge of commuications should have been fired a long time ago.

Having spent 12 years moaning about RENE's inability to communicate properly to investors I sold the rest of my holding yesterday. I still believe in the science and that one day RENE may be a huge player, but with Woodford being a continual brake on the SP, the prospect of a much slower time to market and deals being further away I think there are better opportunities out there at the moment. I expect the SP to dwindle down significantly before making a recovery.

After 12 years I've just sold 70% of my holding. I can't see any short term improvement with deals and we are probably looking at a year plus for any meaningful clinical data that may show consistent improvements in eyesight. The stroke trials are in H1 2021 so the opportunity cost of tying up a load of cash here doesn't make sense. Factor in more fundraising and I can't see the SP being higher for a long time.
