The RNS was poor in content and timing. The erratic communications have consistently been a bugbear with long term holders in this company. This isn't a startup anymore. They should have not issued partial top-level results which could be interpreted in many different ways before the conference. As for the SP running up beforehand, they let it run for ages before the first cohort news.

I own more shares than the total traded today. I'm assuming that everybody is waiting for October's update and people won't start buying until nearer the time. Meanwhile it's tumbleweed time.

Two big sells have knocked the price again. I have so many reasons to hate Woodford right now. He could do us all a favour by quitting and leaving the country.

Fair cop, stem cell therapy and gene therapy are different things, but I wasn't really expecting the new PM to know the difference. Anyway, it sounds like the government are positive about supporting cutting edge science so hopefully that will be a good thing. Whether this government will be about in three months is another thing.

Agree that this investment has been de-risked significantly based on projected inflows and bar a research disaster (e.g. eyesight deteriorating or eyeballs exploding) is as sure a thing as you will find on AIM. As somebody who filled his boots at the equivalent of £7.00 in 2007, I'm not going to give up now. I don't think my username has been particularly valid either when discussing this company.

Good points mcleod, good luck if you want to day trade this one, you could get really burned. I'm happy to wait another 2-5 years, I've waited 12 so far...

To be honest I was expecting the SP to be below £2 now based on the lack of inspiring RNS last week, but we are showing some considerable strength. This can only be good news as RENE has a history of dropping after news. The last few months have changed things significantly.

Or if the FCA weren't asleep at the wheel yet again. I can't think of single regulator in this country that is properly independent and fit for purpose. Think utilities, phones, pensions, rail travel, foods etc.

Good plan. This has been an odd few weeks with some strange trading patterns. Until the Woodford issue is resolved it is a completely unpredictable variable on the SP. I can't believe the guy is still in post to be honest. Surely firing him and getting someone else in is the only way to calm people down.

All is at peace on the RENE board again, and if is £28 by next Wednesday you are all welcome to my house for a drink!

Let's give the guy a break, all he did was ask a question. If that is the worst deramping we see I'm not that worried. There are plenty of mindless rampers who post things like 'This is going to fly this week' without any logic or evidence which annoy me just as much even though I'm a holder

The spike today is probably not Woodford related.

Woodford holds 35% of the company. It would take him a year to sell his stake bit by bit with the volumes we have here.

Another week probably dominated by the Woodford debacle. This is a share to buy and not watch daily, but it's hard to do. In other news why can't LSE just go with the new website, the Beta banner is getting on my nerves.
