There's no reason to suppose that GGP is using cash faster than planned. Additional drilling at Havieron would have been factored in and costed - they don't just plan 3 months in advance.

I hope we're not going to start up the conspiracy theories again. The reason posts are disappearing is due to bugs in the website - you can see many of them reappear later. There's no person in admin deleting them.

TheItalian, it is an unfortunate fact that many are under the illusion that it makes sense to trade on AIM. Let's call it by its real name, "gambling". You cannot consitantly trade on AIM - fact. Don't take it from me, listen to what the professional traders say, and I don't mean the ones who only say they are professional - I mean real ones who have actually worked as traders successfully at Goldman Sachs and banks / hedge funds. They say that you typically use 6 - 18 month time horizons, and trading in and out within a few weeks is simply ridiculous. Any kind of short term trading requires a high volume liquid asset such as stocks on the S&P, DOW or NASDAQ, and is largely a thing of the past. What people are describing on this board is getting lucky once in a while, because it could easily have gone the other way. For many, it did go horribly wrong and that's why you see so many bitter individuals blaming the market and generally pooring scorn on the world. Sure, if you bought at 1.7p and sold at 2p you've made some money. But it would be peanuts unless you were trading millions of shares each time. But what would be the reason to buy GGP at 1.7p? Was it specifically to sell again in a few weeks at a higher price? Who could know that the SP would get to 2p in a few weeks? Why expend all that energy trying to trade AIM when you could sit back without stress and watch it rise over time? So many people trade on companies they don't even like, but what kind of person buys shares in a company they don't like? If you do like the company, then why woundn't you keep hold of the shares? It takes all sorts, it seems.

Caveman2506, your views seem incompatible with investing. I bought the bulk of my GGP shares when the company only hoped that one day they could do some real drilling, and now we are here drilling like crazy. People were saying pretty much the same kind of thing back then, but the SP has increased six fold to date. It's just as important, if not the most important, to decide whether you think the BoD and staff are the kind of people you want to invest in - there are a great many far worse in this industry, or any industry for that matter. Do you think that Callum and Gervaise can steer the company to something much bigger in the future? I believe they can, and that's why I am invested. Whatever assets they may or may not have right now is secondary, because if an opportunity comes along you can be sure they will grab it with both hands. But, as it happens, we do have some very nice exploration licenses. 1. We have a good size land holding in Paterson, to the south and north, and we have only started scratching the surface. 2. Same for Ernest Giles - it's a vast area and we know there's gold there. 3. Pilbara, we know there's gold there also - highly prospective, and we haven't even touched that yet. All in all, that's plenty to be getting on with and I look forward to it in the months and years to come.

Because most negative posts are underpinned by very little knowledge and the people involved have obviously done no research - or cannot understand what they read. Best thing for them is to go away and come back later when they understand what's going on.

You guys looking ECR should do a bit more thinking before jumping from a company with bonanza grades for gold and consitent copper grades to one like ECR with tiny numbers like 0.3g/t and 0.12g/t. No wonder the SP is all over the place if people behave in this manner.

Historic drill holes at Black Hills and the broader area have only been very shallow. As can be seen by Antipa's more recent activities, nobody really knows what might be deeper down. As far as I can tell, mineralization continues at the bottom of most holes which seem to average about 50m. Dropzone, it's not MM's jerking the SP about - it is people buying and selling because they have done no research and are paying too much attention to short term movements. Anyone who has done even the most basic research will see that we have an excellent land holding in Paterson. Once we know more about Black Hills it will be an indicator of what may be on the north eastern part of the Havieron license, and the Havieron results are far from insignificant. Then we also have Paterson Range East - a fair parcel of prospective land.

Plappers, why don't you explain to all of us about IOCG targets then, instead of your asinine comment providing nothing of value.

After reading some of the posts here, I don't know what people were expecting from only 4 holes. We don't know what shape the mineralisation is yet, but it's unlikely to be shaped like a flying saucer lying flat. So obviously you won't hit high grades consistantly over a wide area. These intercepts could go to 1000m or more, and there could be many more - the drill has to hit the pockets of mineralisation. For example, there could be seams of gold and copper dipping down to the south west for many kilometers and go right between Newcrests previous drill holes, or in any direction. You cannot tell from only 4 holes.

jaydaknave, I remember those days well. I used to wind Orion up about his ASX listed shares and tried to encourage him to buy some GGP, but don't think he ever did... he said I did not know anything about geology. Well, I knew enough to know where the next gold and copper were likely to be. Come on Orion, I know you've always wanted some GGP rather than those juniors being syphoned off by Rio.

beginner1, no. But if an agreement is reached that is considered material to the market, he would have to report it. Also, if there is an unusual change in the share price, he may be asked if there is any material development affecting the price.

The impression I got from the last interview was that they intend to finish off the planned area, then publish the results (maybe a couple of weeks, once they can analyse the data properly). I think today's RNS is just to keep investors imformed along the way.
