Its not shorters or MM's or the market that is squeezing people out - they are doing it to themselves. If people didn't buy and then sell on a daily / weekly basis, then the shorters wouldn't have anything to short. IMO.

But mapp, as I said many times, real investors don't take any notice of the activities of traders and MM's. So, where the SP is in a 1 - 3 years time is what I am focused on, and it will be a lot more than where it is now.

The Scallywag target has been selected for the first phase of a new exploration programme, testing high priority gold/copper targets in the region. It's not clear if it includes the Paterson Range-East license, but probably not yet. The Scallywag target includes several magnetic anomalies over an area of 4km x 6km. There are many targets there, compared to only one at the first Havieron site, and they might be closer to surface. It is the success at Havieron that has led to this extended exploration, so it won't be long before the Geo's are scratching around there and gathering samples.

Regarding cash required for Havieron and Black Hills. GH did not say more cash is needed for these projects, but actually said that the extra cash will help accelerate them. Also, when asked what investors should be focused on over the coming months, GH said they should focus on Havieron and Black Hills. The reason he said that should be obvious. BH is near surface and more likely to yeald bankable results in the near term. Havieron results indicate that there is a significant mineralised system there. In contrast, Ernest Giles exploration is at an early stage, and has not yet revealed any clear system - it may take time and multiple campaigns to figure out the source of the mineralisation. We may be lucky with Meadows, but you should not count instant success there.

Solid investors don't care what foolish traders get up to. If you ask me, anyone trading like this on AIM is either new to the markets or psychotic.

It would be far better to do proper research on companies you invest in, rather than just putting money in those promoted by others. The idea is to seek out good companies that are undervalued, and buy when nobody else is interested in them, i.e. when the price is low.

Most people know that AIM stocks are much higher risk than those on the main market. But in any case, if you are buying and selling frequently on market fluctuations, you are actually multiplying your risk many times. It is the difference between investing and gambling. As we have seen with GGP, you don't ever know exactly what is around the corner. What you can say with some confidence is that, over time your investment will appreciate. The true measure of the degree of success in your trading habits, is to look at your total gain or loss over a long period, i.e. 1 - 3 years.

The fact that gold, copper, and silver were all found at Wishbone is a good sign. But we have to wait to find out where it comes from. Same with Carnegie, a consistant Nickel response means there must be Nickel in there somewhere - the area is quite big so it may take time to find the main source. I am quite pleased about the results. Just think, it's not like there was nothing there at all.

readthecandles, because your cinical views of the nature of GH bears no relationship with what is happening. GH is a pretty reasonable CEO and is making very good progress. Not many junior exploration companies have this level of energy. You are full of ridiculous nonsense, blabbing about things you know nothing about as usual.

Rtc, GGP is an exploration company. If you don't understand how exploration works the do some research. It's high risk and the stakes are high. GH does what he can to smooth out the path ahead.

Good to know the Paterson licenses will get a good going over. Remember, the Skallywag targets are much larger than Havieron. Exciting times.

GGP have always done the best they could with the funds available - that's one reason they are still here after all this time. You have no understanding of how exploration companies operate. bhargav, As you can see GH is not interested in people who are looking to make money quickly. Everything is geared to a longer term strategy. Well done GH... don't give anything to the impatient.

Why worry about EG? We all know EG is a longer term and speculative exploration activity. Think how long it took to discover Telfer, and how much exploration was done. It's way too early to know what EG may become in the future.
