Hawk, if mapp is invested in VAL then he might think carefully about what he is invested in. Just a quick look at the fundamentals of that company tells me that it is a company that has more liabilities than cash. The problem with these small clinical research companies is that neither the investor nor the company itself know whether their trials will succeed. It's really important to invest only in what you really understand, and that's why I would never invest in junior research companies. I understand minerals exploration / mining and that's where I stay. As an example, my nephew is heavily invested in AMD because he understands the chip architecture inside out, and therefore it's advantage over Intel. Don't invest in something you don't understand.

mapp, I havn't seen any evidence of the stock market being prevented from moving forward. In the last 2 years the SP has risen 750%.

Lesotch24 doesn't know what breccia is. If he did he would know that breccia are formed as part of volcanic activity and are typically host most of the mineralisation.

Really interesting reading all the posts about what gambling vs. investment is. But every single one has misunderstood what gambling is. Gambling is a behaviour of people, and has nothing to do with any particular asset being used. A gambler tries to make a short term gain by hoping that luck is on their side, and regardless of any supporting or opposing factors. An investor takes a calculated risk supported by due diligence and a long term strategy.

wolfie1501, why are you bothered about the share price over the next couple of months? What about Havieron, Black Hills, and Firetower, all being drilled early next year?

Existing drill holes have tested to approximately 850m vertically below surface. Elevated gold and copper persisted to end of several holes (based on analytical results to date) suggesting the mineralisation continues at depth below the current limit of drilling. Visible mineralisation at end of hole in HAD009 (at 932m downhole) further supports this belief. The laboratory results from recent drilling demonstrate the presence of very high grades of gold and copper at Havieron, and when considered in conjunction with geophysical models, the potential large scale of the mineralised system is apparent.

Morningsun, spot on, but I don't think value will see it like that. Some people just hammer in their own beliefs and do not want to learn from others. If somebody said the same to me, I would take it on board and re-assess my thinking.

Valuefinder, the drill locations were specifically designed to determine the direction and extent of the mineralisation, and we haven't found the end yet. If you do your research you will see that the recent drills did not pretty much hit the same spot at depth, as you say. HAD009 ended a good 200m or more south east of HAD001 for example. It's up to you if you want to sell, but I won't be. Watching short term price action and general market conditions, and then worrying about it, is one of the things that leads inexperienced investors to make bad decisions. Hovering over the sell button is not something professional investors do.

As can be seen from the latest drill locations, HAD009 cut right through the mineralised system a fair distance to the south east - this is supported by the geophysical models reported earlier. The interesting thing is that the top of the mineralisation is roughly the same depth in all holes. HAD006 shows mineralisation stretching south of HAD001, while HAD007 shows the system present a little to the east. It does look like mineralisation is increasing to the south east - HAD009 might confirm that. What can't be determined at this point is whether it gets deeper to the south east, even though geophysical models suggest it. Drilling next year may give an idea of how far to the south east and how deep it goes. Either way, it looks like a big one. Much more to come yet.

Bott, your agenda is clearly that of a short term trader. Your only focus is to grab a small profit and run to the next company. Why don't you grow up? Shareholders will get much better returns if GH fully explores the assets we have before monetising them - just common sense. We don't want to sell potentially world class assets on the cheap. GH is the right CEO going forward. People suggesting GH should go are exhibiting the same asinine mentality as those wanting to leave the EU - short term and myopic.

What is even more unbelievable is why so many have forgotten the bigger picture and are focusing on small intraday movements. So what if HAD006 turns out not to be very good? What about subsequent holes? They are still drilling, and with each new hole we will get closer to the deeper parts of the main body. Look at the last RNS, which clearly shows how the mineralisation is being targeted with geophysical models to back up the drilling. Look at what is on the agenda for next year and the activity in the region. Think objectively.

One important point regarding the next drill results for Havieron, is that the team would have been aware of down hole magnetic data well before we got the result. It is likely that magnetics from HAD005 pionted them to HAD006 and so on, as magnetics from each hole come in. Regarding the Western Australian mining season. The mining season gets underway in April when the weather starts to cool. The team will already have drill locations defined for Black Hills, so I think they will be drilling Black Hills and Havieron in April, then Scallywag by June - July.

MisterPositive, it's a good start on the gold discovery, but have you actually researched OMI? What about the financials and their liabilities? Is that not important?
