Adam Davidson, CEO of Trident Royalties, discusses offtake milestones and catalysts to boost FY24. Watch the video here.
If you continuously don’t like what someone posts, please filter them and don’t reply.
They want you to reply, it gives them oxygen to carry on the argument.
I’ve filtered jadam, but it makes no difference, as I still have to scroll through 50 or so posts every day of people replying to him.
If everyone just filters him, we can actually discuss and learn something from each other about, oh I don’t know ... maybe ODX???
This is great news for sure. But let’s also not get too excited.
- this is about using the Elisa testing services, it’s not a sale of our manufactured products
- it is specifically for the Mologic Elisa antibody test
- it is not for the airport or quarantine “do you currently have covid” tests
- quantity and value of contract is unknown and antibody tests will likely be lower volume
However, it’s great news and shows the reputation of our Elisa testing service is good. I note that Screen4 work with aviation, maritime and oil and gas employers, so they may be working with them to regularly test their employees before a deployment on a ship, oil rig etc. See their corporate return to work strategy section under their COVID19 services section of the website. It references antibody testing of employees.
Agree with Ghia to manage expectations for results write-up. RM said Q2, so let’s not expect anything until at least April, possibly a bit later.
The stakes are very high now (even higher than it was P2). So the last thing anyone wants is a rushed publication that someone important can poke holes in. Prefer to get it 100% and checked again and again and again before publishing. It’ll benefit us all as LTH.
For all those (and I’m not focusing on any 1 person here) who want top-class investor relations updates, I suggest selling up here and investing in a FTSE100 company instead. They have dedicated investor relations staff and IR agencies, but the downside is their execs are so well polished and media trained that they never just speak directly and honestly.
We have a rarity of a CEO here in Colin. He speaks directly and honestly, and as is often said on this BB, under-promises and over-delivers. He is not polished at media presentations, but he clearly knows the diagnostics business and is well respected in the industry. You wouldn’t get a FTSE100 company exec answering PI questions so honestly via a “big jock”.
ODX don’t have an internal investor relations team, and they are focusing all their time and energy on manufacturing and selling high quality, accurate covid tests that will massively benefit our whole UK society and very likely save many lives along the way.
Decide which investor communications approach you prefer? If you’re happy, stay with ODX. If not, sell up and leave, just don’t waste our time by being forced to read through all your moaning posts.
Kenneth, I remember it well when you told us about your Dad a few weeks back. And I think someone here helped you get it touch with Prof Wilkinson but unfortunately SNG wasn’t on trial near you.
What a worrying time for you, and really hoping your Dad recovers with all the careful, loving attention he will be getting from the medics and nurses in ICU.
He’s lucky to have you continuously researching and pushing on his behalf.
AGree to call an ambulance (and exaggerate severity if symptoms). Don’t feel guilty about it - Not when there’s a baby involved.
Minimum a paramedic check over will give you both peace of mind. But I’d be surprised if they don’t take her in for monitoring. In hospital they will have her on a constant fingertip oximiter and can spot anything deteriorating the minute it happens.
Good luck and hoping all the best for her.
Adieuk32 - thank you so much, really helpful explanation. I hadn’t cottoned on to that part of the RNS about voting rights, and didn’t realise they were affected when loaned out on a short.
I’m now a little wiser than I was when I woke up this morning, so thank you!
Adieuk32 - hope you don’t mind a question? I’m an amateur at understanding shorts.
How is it that GS have reduced shorts by 0.5% but yet their holdings have gone up 22%? And didn’t they just reduce their holdings by about the same amount a few days ago?
I’m confused by the maths ...
Reviewed all my stocks today. The online tool I used showed ODX as being 24% up compared to 1 month ago.
Puts into perspective the occasional bad day on the market.
Good night all, and farewell to today. Tomorrow is another day.
Does someone somewhere know something we don’t?
RNS coming tmrw? Govt press announcement?
I agree Tricky.
I see it as a positive that we will supply whichever LFT the govt wants. Next month it may be Mologic, in 6 months it may be a brand new even better test from a different developer. It means our fortunes are not tied to one test, which is important in an area where testing technology is evolving so quickly.
As many others have said, the key thing is ...
We will sell everything we can make!
I'm not selling a single share for a long time yet :-) £££££
Thanks Regulator!
Regulator - do you think we will soon see a contract notice officially published on bidstats? And will it state £ amount, volume etc so we can work out revenue per test?
Would be interesting to know those figures, as we don’t currently know the final price negotiated by govt.
