Share price has doubled in a month or two, many into handsome profit already and still very little upside is priced in. Gazelle1 numbers, H2, Sunsteppe, farm-out/buyout all still to come. Let that sink in. Criminal stockbashers increasingly impotent.

Yes lovely position to be in now- the big drop allowed people to weigh in big to bring their averages down dramatically so that the recent big rise from .75p to 1.5p has put a lot of people in healthy profit already with literally nothing priced in yet. Exciting times.

I'd prefer a share buyback to any sort of divi if there's a buyout of Heron. Really consolidate the value of the company longer-term.

Agreed Frontera. It's possible the farm-out (buyout?) negotiations have superceded the news from G1, H2 etc. Common for a radio silence to be imposed when things get near the vinegar stroke.

I'm pondering exactly the same dilemma Richar. Any good news now and the ultra-low prices are gone forever in all likelihood. But...Tbh my buying now would mean averaging up a bit so there's that to consider.

All good thanks Mullins although a bit chilly and wet in the Burgundian countryside atm. Yes, I'm looking at Groc. Seems to have massive potential especially as Greenland is so strategically important in global terms. The CEO seems pretty straight too although after my experience with Arthur Milholland at COPL that's a pretty low bar. To be fair, I see Buck as pretty honest for an operator in the brutal oil-exploration business.

Buck said he'd love a buyout if 'the price is right'. We have resolved so many obstacles and barriers to developing a field in Mongolia, streamlining the regulatory environment in the process. Big chunk of cash, rinse and repeat Block VII in rapid fashion would be great. All options are still available.

Seems to me that Buck is either looking to bundle everything up re H2 and Gazelle into one big end of season update, or maybe the farm-out talks have superceded everything else in light of the unexpected Gazelle 1 result. I've had a sneaky feeling for a while that any potential partner might just bite the bullet and go for a buyout. Who knows?

At the moment it's a company with huge potential but with some bridges to cross still although the EIFO loan is a real tipping point it seems. Certainly not one for a quick trade but this could be huge in the long run. Thanks again for signposting the key features Elir.
