If you engage with the resident rodents then you only encourage them to breed. Put them in the trash and have the discipline to completely ignore them forever. It really is the one thing they can't deal with. Hence their prime tactic is to goad and provoke. We are talking real lowlifes. You wouldn't talk to them in the normal run of things so why do so here? I genuinely believe that many of them are probably incarcerated petty criminals with little to do with their time apart from post here, take drugs and self-abuse more than is good for their eyesight.

All the rubbish is washing up here now. An absolute twat extravaganza.

I don't care what others think or say tbh. I've praise Buck many times, and repeat that I think he's generally doing a good job in tricky circumstances. But he needs to get this damned issue sorting. Good news is so often lost in a welter of unnecessary information. For example, we can assume that the withholding issue is ongoing if he doesn't tell us about it. We don't need telling how disappointing it is in the same RNS announcing an key milestone in the company's history ie a second producing well. Like I said. Fecking basic.

Will do. It is so basic. They really have to improve massively in this regard. The Gazelle news should have pushed this on hugely. Some people were still doubting Gazelle coming onstream at a good rate so it needed the RNS to confirm it. Literally nothing else in that RNS needed to be included, not even H2 as the work is ongoing. Honestly, it's so frustrating.

Buck needs hauling over the coals for that last RNS - how can he think that it's OK for the last sentence in an update announcing a 130% increase in income to talk about other issues being 'disappointing' which didn't even need to be addressed in the update as nothing had changed in that regard. The whole Gazelle news got diluted to nothing. And here we are, a 40% drop after great news. And Gazelle wasn't priced in as we were massively undervalued at 1.6p anyway. I'm spitting feathers. I'm awaiting a reply from the communications halfwits there and will share any feedback I get.

In general, I'm OK with the job Buck has done and is doing and it's clearly been a tough environment to do business in for many years, Covid notwithstanding. However, I also think there are questions to be answered about the last year in particular and I hope Malcy puts a few to him on our behalf. In the end of the day, in the last year since H1 came onstream, that well has continued to produce ok although at nothing like the output we were initially led to believe, and Gazelle has been opened up in the last month to produce 200 bopd. That's it. In a year. So for 11 months prior to Gazelle there was no tangible progress in any direction - no increase in bopd, no farm-out, no progress with Chinese on the withholding issue, nothing concrete from Sunsteppe, no RBL. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to wait but any CEO whose company produces so little progress in a full year needs to have their feet held to the fire for the sake of accountability. I'll continue to hold and remain bullish but I believe that those charged with making the decisions at the head of any organisation should always be made to be accountable in public.
