RE: Is this the start of the crash?17 Oct 2025 13:03
That's exactly the point Thorn. In a strange way, a relatively low POO makes Matd a better bet for oil investors than other similar outfits - good netbacks, no debt to service, very low overheads, diversifying into renewables, and CEO who has had the foresight to streamline the company, such as cutting production energy costs by 15% by connecting to the grid. And now, hopefully, a company just about to up its output significantly as POO dips. Timing couldn't be better. Even with oil in the 50's' each extra 100 barrels per day still brings in at least $80 more a month. Imagine if H2 and Gazelle bring in multiples of that. We become an oil company who is managing to grow while the oil price cycle is at the low end. That'll bring us some attention for sure.
