Yep, we're clearing over $15000 a day at the moment at $80 Brent. The Mongolian winter is officially over and the temperature should rise to workable levels in two to three weeks. I'm sure the counterparty would like to get started on drilling in this season although we have plenty to be getting on with the new test at Gobi 1 and renewed remedial works to squeeze another 50 bopd from H2.

I think we are close to the farm-out but I wonder if the 2026 agreement with PC just needs to be signed off first before the counterparty commits definitively. I'm happy to wait. Morning all. The world is in a terrible mess and nobody has a clue how to sort it out. There is no info on the endgame for Iran because er, Trump hasn't thought that far ahead. This vague idea that by decapitating the political class, ordinary Iranians will rise up and create a thriving pro-Western democracy would be laughable it wasn't so tragic. All that will happen is that the country will descend in to factional fighting, civil war and gangsterism as happened in Iraq, Libya, Syria etc. And ISIS haven't gone away.

I can't see POO dropping for a while and the OPEC output increases yesterday were relatively modest in light of what's going on. The only thing we can be certain of is that Trump is clearly worried about the mid-term elections later this year. His approval ratings are very low. In terms of China, they will clearly need to do anything they can to secure their energy supplies. That may benefit us or it may not. Don't forget the whole point of Mongolia's refinery is to produce their own oil for their own use rather than importing it. It's all pretty secondary now though. Many people are dying, having their homes destroyed, and such instability can be horribly contagious. It's what happens when you make an egomaniacal narcissist the most powerful person on the planet. Desperate times.

2857, I certainly agree that our JV with Sunsteppe is our joker in the pack for us. I'm convinced that it's becoming increasingly central to the future of this company. And I'm sure if larger entities are looking to enter the Mongolian renewables space, the person they'll want to do business with is our Lula. She's a key figure in the regi9n with an incredible CV. Her contacts book must be mightily impressive too.

In short, my view is this company is a couple of nudges away from taking off. We have so much in place already. And NO DEBT, which is a brilliant position to be in.

Morning all. Not sure about RBL yet but how many wells do we need to bring onstream to get to the point of new wells being paid for directly from revenue? The two producers we have currently cover costs with a bit over and there's every chance H2 and/or Gobi will come in. Also, we may well get a cash injection from Sunsteppe this year. It's not hard to imagine a scenario where we end up with four or five wells producing. RBL then becomes a real possibility with surplus income from two or three new wells this year. RBL sufficient for two drills, with every chance of bringing another well onstream. Then we'd really be cooking. Not saying this will happen, but trying to foresee scenarios is what investing is all about. This is AIM and that's the game.
