But you need to factor in grade inflation too. Back in the day it was much rarer to get straight A's than it is these days. Is that because they're so much more intelligent now than we were? I would certainly argue that point, they cannot add two simply numbers in their heads, formulate simple sentences or even spell words correctly yet we have more than ever coming out of colleges and schools with a clean sweep of A grades or A stars (or 10 or whatever the new equivalents are)
If you've ever worked with them, they are incredibly dumb. They have never been taught to think for themselves at all. As a country, our education system is totally failing people and we are regressing.
